Desert Rats Hockey Tour

Last night our u12s booked their place in the final to fight for a Gold medal. The team are completely transformed from the team that started the tournament to the unit they have become together.

Although it's a time to celebrate, it didn't feel like a win as it was against some of our touring brothers that we call family. Shaking the hands of this years u10s goalie JT and the kids from last year's journey Landon, Matteo and Jase brought back the memories of the heartache 💔 of when we lost last year Platinum finals.

Both teams absolutely battled out there and we could see the progression of the players, which made it even harder.

To the team that lost, we will fight to end for that gold medal for you and make sure we have no regrets.

Last year's NARCh Players u10s and u12s captain's Riley and Noah travelled to Switzerland doing the business last weekend at the European Ball Cup.

Ball is where all of the original Rats started and great to see it's still alive and kicking 👊

These kids only played 1 season with a team consisting of players from u8s to 14s and they made it all the way to Europe and where unlucky not to get further.

We’ve had several of our players competing over in Switzerland at the IISHF European Cup.

As winners of the UK National Championship, Rockets qualified for the IISHF U13 European Cup in Switzerland. After losing out on a quarter final place they finished 9th, gaining valuable experience against some of the best teams in Europe.

Here are the u12 NATIONAL CHAMPIONS for the 23/24 season.

Undefeated all season, made it through to the finals against Norton Cyclones to a 2-2 draw taking it to penalties.
