Hi Everyone,
Mulching helps me to maintain the gardens I look after and makes garden maintenance so much easier and more enjoyable.
Tomorrow I’ll be mulching to help my customer enjoy and keep there garden as low maintenance as possible for the spring and summer.
Mulches help soil retain moisture in the summer, and rain to pe*****te the soil in winter.
Mulching in the winter has many benefits.
Preventing w**ds from growing and but most importantly protects the roots of the plants especially in winter.
Mulching is by far the easiest way to shelter your plants from the winter Season.
If you mulch with a bark, it will suppress the w**ds, protect your plants and shrubs and eventually break down and enrich your soil with organic material.
For best results w**d the area first and then apply 2-3 inches!
Winter Mulching is not only a useful tip but also will keep your garden looking neat and tidy all year round.

Still plenty to do in the gardens I‘m working on.
Running a Gardening business can be lonely at times when its just you.
The birdsong is wonderful, no place I’d rather be.
Today I wasn’t alone, not your usual visitors but was very chuffed to see them 🐂🤣
