GCSE English Masterclasses
The GCSE English Language and Literature Masterclasses are designed for students beginning KS4, taking GCSE resits or KS3 students looking to prepare for KS4.

Learn with a Specialist Teacher of English with BA (Hons), PGCE and QTS. An experienced private tutor, with almost a decade of tutoring experience and an annually updated, enhanced DBS clearance.
Lessons integrate the complete requirements of the National Curriculum and address topics as specified by AQA, EDEXCEL, OCR and EDUQAS. Student progress is monitored with regular assessment. Lessons build up students’ confidence to attempt challenge up to the higher ability grades (7-9) for GCSE level.

Predominantly a Saturday class in Acocks Green - Birmingham, the lessons are 2 hours in duration from 11am to 1pm.

An alternative version of the originally penned poem by John Milton in 1626 at Cambridge, as “In Quintum Novembris” (“On the Fifth of November”).

The poem celebrates the anniversary of the failed Gunpowder Plot of 1605, when Guy Fawkes was discovered preparing to detonate explosives at the opening of Parliament, an event in which King James I and his family would participate.
