A fantastic day of learning on Occlusion & Tooth Surface Loss at the London Transport Museum. The sun was shining and we had a real action packed programme with the highlight Bas Loomans providing a brilliant synopsis of the Radboud Tooth Wear Project streamed from Nijmegen. Mahul Patel and myself really enjoyed hosting and interacting with colleagues and hearing about the challenges faced with tooth wear especially.

Mahul Patel and myself are excited to announce that Professor Bas Loomans of Radboud UMC Holland will be our guest speaker at the Occlusion & Tooth Surface Loss Symposium on Saturday 10th June at the London Transport Museum Covent Garden. This will attract 6 hours of CPD.

Bas is a Professor in Oral Function and Restorative Dentistry and leads a large research group that investigates a wide variety of aspects of tooth surface loss from diagnosis to rehabilitation and beyond. He has collaborated with clinicians in the UK resulting in high quality peer reviewed research into composite in the restoration of teeth with erosion and attrition. At the current time the Radboud Tooth Wear Project has over a dozen staff solely looking at different aspects of Tooth Surface Loss.

He will be speaking on the management, monitoring and treatment of localised tooth wear where he will be providing a comprehensive overview of clinical techniques and risk factors when managing the tooth wear patient.

We look forward to seeing you at the event to experience his contemporary perspectives and extensive experience.
