On the podium again. This time at the proShoot PR22 match. Tom Rice taking 2nd place & Andre Mills in 3rd in open with Mark Twittey in 2nd Seniors. All using the Gun Warrior Gen7 chassis.

The beginning of June saw the first PRS European Pro Series match hosted by Precision Rifle Series United Kingdom and supported by Highland Outdoors in conjunction with Sierra Bullets, Tier-One, Triggertech and others.

An amazing group of competitors assembled from the UK and across Europe to compete over the two days. Missing out on the Viking Trail this was a highlight match for 2024.

I love competing against and meeting new people. Matches like this provide the challenge of pitting myself against the best and this match didn’t disappoint.

My results on the weekend had been a pleasant and positive upswing in my form of late. I still made some mental errors due to a drop in concentration but luckily it’s something I can fix.

Mill River Misfits strike for the first time this weekend, taking 1st and 3rd in NRL22 Open Division and 1st Senior Division at Monmouth Rifle Club. All using Gun Warrior Gen7 chassis. Andre Mills & Mark Twittey using a CZ457 and Tom Rice using his Tikka T1x, all nestled in the Warrior Gen7. Andre also sporting his Zero Compromise Optic ZC527 with MPCT2 reticle on his CZ457.

The International Precision Rifle Federation is pleased to announce that Great Britain & Northern Ireland will host the 2025 Precision Rifle 22lr World Championships in England.

The United Kingdom has a passionate Precision Rifle community with many world class shooters and established venues across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland and already attracts international competitors from across the globe to their domestic and European matches. As a visitor destination the U.K. is up there with the best and is at the heart of international travel networks. This promises to be an amazing tournament.

We thank the Great Britain Precision Rifle Association for submitting the winning bid to host the World Championships and we look forward to releasing more details about the venue in good time.

Enjoyed a lovely spring day at Zero-One. Shooting the NRL22 COF for May and some extra stages put together by Mark Twittey. Didn’t have a good result on the score sheet but had good fun shooting with friends. First outing using the Warrior Gen7 fitted with my old CZ457.

A couple Sako extractor conversions for these .223 and Magnum Re*****on 700 bolts.
