A huge result for the B team yesterday as they beat the lightning 6-5 in an end to end high scoring contest but their resilience and quality in the offensive zone was enough to take both the points

⚓️Under 10’s Qualifiers⚓️

Saturday sees both under 10 teams in action in the qualifiers again looking to further their bid to become national champions throughout the day

After a disappointing game the previous week, The B’s came back from Long Eaton with a Win in a their Div2 matchup against the previously unbeaten Lightning team! Every player battled hard to come away with a hard fought but well deserved victory!

The C team started the day with a tough one to take just losing out to the Nemesis before dominating against the Rams later in in the day to make up for lost points in game 1

The B’s lost to the hawks in a back and forth game but lacked quality in front of goal ultimately costing them the 2 points

The Tier 1 side lost both games in a feisty encounter with the losing big in the first game but narrowly missing out later on in the day after a much improved effort

A tough loss for the B team yesterday as they faced the in the league falling 6-1 in a spirited battle the only goal coming from Matt Raistrick

On Saturday the Tier 1 team faced off against the in the national qualifiers winning one and losing one with great performances by all

A short benched afternoon took its toll but the players who stepped up from Tier 3 held their own and ended in a successful day for the team

⚓️C’s Result⚓️

Heartbreak for the C’s again after battling incredibly hard throughout they lose on penalty shots for the second week in a row but the team are getting better and better each week and the good results are just around the corner

The 13’s unfortunately lost in the final after a really good and promising day of hockey

The 16’s also narrowly lost out on penalty shots this time but both teams did themselves proud

The B team head to Hull in a tough match up against a strong Riverkings side

The C team make the trip to Nottingham to face the Hyenas to look to build some form

Whilst our Juniors are at home in the nationals, our boys from Stingrays A are over in Atherton guesting for Slovan in the Tatry Cup.

Tomorrow, our U8’s, U13’s and U16’s all take place in the winter national qualifier with games throughout the day as they look to gain momentum for the national finals

A’s fall for the first time this season in a really close encounter with the unbeaten Wolfpack who proved to be just too much for the boys today

A’s head to Nottingham on Sunday looking to extend their lead at the top if the table against the wolfpack who are also yet to lose this season

⚓️Stingrays Blue take the National title!⚓️

A dominant display throughout the day from the blues team putting up some fantastic results and going undefeated on the day through to the finals and running away winners in a hard fought final against the Bulldogs

The Maroon team played their hearts out all day and played with big smiles throughout working super hard as a team. Special mention goes to young Zack Kerkhoff who at just 5 years old played up an age group and got a goal he so desperately craved.

Sundays fixture ended in a narrow defeat on penalty shots for the C’s

A much improved performance saw the team come back late in the 3rd to earn a well deserved point but unfortunately it wasn’t to be in the shootout

A professional display from the A’s last night saw them storm through the mills with 3 hat tricks and a a solid defensive performance enough to take both the points and keep their spot at the top of the league

⚓️Seniors Gamedays⚓️

The C’s host the Hammerheads on Sunday down at Bench Buddy looking to put some form together with a home win

The A’s head to Manchester for a game against the millionaires aiming to continue their perfect record in the league and keep hold of top spot as we near the end of the season

⚓️U10 Action⚓️

On sunday the U10’s take part in the nationals spring qualifiers against the Bulldogs and Huskies hoping for a successful day of results as we move closer to the finals

A dominant display from the A team tonight as they ran out 10-1 winners in a really tough away day

A tight first period was followed by 2 clinical periods and the boys took complete control of the game putting in by far the best performance of the season and continuing their unbeaten start

The A’s make the trip to Greasley to face the bears tonight hoping to round off a successful couple of weeks and head into Christmas unbeaten

Huge road win for the Stingrays as the fellas beat the Vikings convincingly

After going down 2-0 early the boys stuck to it and dominated the remainder of the game getting themselves level in the second period before the Vikings got themselves into penalty trouble and the A’s took full advantage and put the game to bed
