The last of the Halloween platters have gone out and now to plan for bonfire night.

We do cheese platters for special occasions, buffets, after dinner, or simply for a night in with friends and family.

How cute is this Camembert baker 🥰Now just to pop it in the oven for around 15/20 minutes and enjoy with some warm bread! That’s what Sunday nights are for 😁

What could be nicer than parmigiano and pecorino with a chilli chutney and strawberries? ❤️🍓🧀

I may just have to try them all before Christmas… for research purposes obviously 😂!!

How fabulous and versatile are cheese graters? Apart from doing their obvious job of grating cheese - preferably parmesan cheese on a tasty pasta dish they can be used for so much more!!

You can use your grater for grating:

🍅tomatoes and garlic for a fresh pasta sauce
🍋the zest of a lemon or lime
🥖dry bread for fresh breadcrumbs
🍫dark chocolate to use as sprinkles!

What do you use your grater for?

We love paring cheese, who doesn't? Especially soft spreadable cheese as you can see here, on one of our home delivery cheese boards.

Why not try something different and order a cheese board today?

We've gone for a traditional 5 cheeses board - soft cheese, hard cheese, blue cheese, a smoked cheese and a tasty red. Crackers and fruit in abundance. This one is served with honey.

Are you a honey or chutney kinda person? I love them both....

It would just be rude not to have a Brie joke along the way..... so here it is 😂

Brie a soft white cheese, with a creamy liquid like texture and rind. There are so many variations all ideally served at room temperature with crusty bread and a glass of wine. The real question though - do you eat the rind or leave the rind?

Soft cheese, honey and walnuts - it may not be low fat but it's most definitely delicious. Try it with crackers and just drizzle the honey all over 😍.

Edam cheese from the Netherlands, with its distinctive red wax coat, sweet flavour and rubbery texture goes well with Chardonnay, Riesling and Shiraz.. served on crackers with traditional fruits such as pears and apples.
