Another chimney fire 🚒🔥 unknown by the homeowner!! This is soot that has turned into creosote and been on fire inside the chimney walls.

Make sure you don't miss having your annual sweep, it really isn't worth it! Especially with fires being used more and more to heat our homes.

This is just a reminder how important it is for us to have a sweep every year, this liner is only 2 years old!!!!!! We just about managed to clear it, so now it can be chemically treated to remove the creosote build up, to be made safe again, this was innocent user error but could have easily been a chimney fire 🔥 or a blocked flue, needing a re-line, very costly!!

With us being heating contractors we are able to continue working, it is very important that chimneys are regularly swept! 🔥

This is what happens if chimneys are not swept regularly, they can become blocked which means dangerous gasses can come into your home and you are at risk of chimney fire 🔥 it can also mean you need your liner replacing which is very costly!!... It's really simple to avoid, a sweep should be done a minimum of once a year!
