Hello friends, I’ve got 2 new items to show you that were recently commissioned and collected earlier this week as a matching pair☺️

A lovely customer asked for a cream/stone colour for 6 small cane toppers, but I didn’t have that glaze. So I did some searching on my supplier’s website and found one. I love it, and so did my customer ☺️

Good morning, what a rainy start to the weekend! ☔️ I’ve been busy making a few different items recently and I’m very happy with them 😊

My recent batch of orders have been completed and nearly all of them have been handed over to my customers. A HUGE thank you to all of you who have supported me throughout the years. I’m so grateful and humbled that you like and appreciate my work 😍. Well, I say work, but it’s my passion, my relaxation and my mental health wellbeing. I loose time in my workshop, thinking of new things to try and finesse. Without your support I would run out of space with pottery! So my husband also thanks you too! 😂. More orders are in the making ☺️ I hope it never stops xx

These lovely gals are going to their new home tomorrow. They were thrown on the wheel as hollow balls and then moulded to the right shape when partly dry, and their cute faces added. When dry, I hand painted them, fired them and then glazed them in a transparent glaze to make them shiny and fired once again ☺️

Stoneware clay is safe to use either inside or outside.

The larger one is about 13cm and the smaller one about 12cm.

Larger one is £18 and smaller one is £17 😊

As my bee baths have been quite popular, I’ve made a few more, yet to dry and be glazed. These ones are slightly larger, around 13-14cm. Same price @ £9 👍, if it’s a single colour, like the blue one previously, they are £8.

I’ve also made a couple of baths for our lovely hedgehogs. They will be around 16cm and cost £11 ☺️. Not sure what colour to glaze them yet 🤔

I’ve got quite a few orders on the go 🥰 9 tomato cane toppers, a butter dish and a dog water bowl (to keep his ears dry)

The other items are more cane toppers and 2 larger baths for hedgehogs and bees, or anything else that fancies a drink ☺️

Just as well we don’t have anyone for dinner this weekend! 😂

Our bees and insects will need a little extra help keeping hydrated when the weather warms up (if it warms up 🙄) I’ve made small bee baths that are very shallow with raised leaves and flowers for them to rest on while having a little drink of sugar water. Each bath is 12cm wide, so will fit nicely in your flower beds 😊

Now for something a bit quirky!Who doesn’t love a Robin 🥰. Little Robins to hold q-tips and/or tooth picks.
Approx 5cm high x 5cm wide. Each Robin is hand painted.

Following the little video of my glazed pots yesterday, this is the mug without the black dot on it! Luckily I made 2 of them 😊. This mug holds 265ml of fluid, just under the normal amount of 300ml. Happy to make a larger one of course. Each bee has been hand painted.

It’s been a busy week for me. I’m thinking ahead to the summer (if it ever arrives 🤞) and rolling out my cane toppers. Poppy seeds and mushrooms have gone in the kiln today and will be glazed in the next week. The tomatoes 🍅 are still drying 😊

In between the rain, I’ve been starting to tidy up my garden, another passion of mine ☺️. The cane toppers are already in situ to add a bit of colour 🥰. Very popular last year, so here they are again as a little reminder 👍

Further to my post showing you the ornamental bowl with copper oxide, I eventually found a stand for it through Amazon. My husband said I’m not allowed to sell it, so it’s now situated in my lounge. My very talented daughter hand painted the black Panther 🥰

Two friends came for a joint pottery lesson on Monday afternoon - neither had ever thrown a pot on the wheel before. They both took turns on the wheel and threw 3 pots each. Really impressed! They’ll come back to glaze them in a few weeks ☺️

Finally something very different for me. I normally make functional pieces, but this one is ornamental only due to the copper oxide applied around the rim. It’s NOT food safe. The black metallic effect with the green tinge is quite dramatic ☺️ 9cm x 19cm. £30.

It will look great with a stand. Ive ordered one from Amazon and will take a pic for you when it’s arrived 👍

I made a lid for the first time in years! Came out well I think. Not quite sure what the pot will be used for though? 😂 the mug is to give an idea of the size 👍

A few more valentine pieces are drying, including a recent order of a small sugar bowl and matching jug. I love the bright red of the underglaze ☺️
