VincoVits

Haven't posted on here for a while but I've been working hard in the background!

I think that I tried to launch VincoVits a bit earlier than I was really ready for, all because I was under a bit too much pressure.

However, I've had some time to reflect and really work on my business idea and help out with other people's business ideas.💡

Last month, me and the Christleton students I have been mentoring got to meet the Duke and I helped them pitch their business idea to him. I was so proud of them to be fair, they did amazing 👏

Also, I went on a trip to Almeria in Spain with the Business School where I got to pitch VincoVits to business experts and I won the whole event!

I tried to turn the pitch into a boxing class that I do for the kids at Deva and everyone had fun I guess!

All these experiences have helped me put things into perspective and I've come up with a fresh approach to my business, so hopefully it won't be long before I'm back up and running!

Really enjoying my time at uni, best thing I've ever done, and more to come from VincoVits, I promise!

Last night I had the opportunity to network with and show VincoVits off to some of the most successful and charitable people in the North West, at Eaton Hall. It went quite well and I made a few contacts! 😁

I didn't know what to expect from the evening as I was added to the Young Enterprise event last minute but it was more than I could have hoped for and a great learning experience.

it was also great to hear from YE CEO Sharon Davies and Sky presenter Jonathan Samuels as they talked about their life experiences. I definitely took some inspiration from them!

Thank you to the Christleton High School team, that I've been mentoring, for letting me squeeze some of my gummies onto the end of their table. 😅

I've got plenty of confidence to move forward thanks to this. Thank you and !

Great start and I've just been told that I can sell them in my boxing club DEVA too 😃

Looking for more places to sell them now, I'm thinking of approaching dentists or even set up a small stand at Chester Market...

Giving a talk next week in Chester Business School about the story of VincoVits! 😃

Will be a good chance to share my highs and lows so that others can maybe learn from them haha

It's been a little while but Happy New Year!

Let me fill you in on some of the progress I've made over Christmas...

1. Rebranding - the logo I'd had until now was good but didn't reflect the brand enough. I introduce to you the new logo that symbolises the three corners of VincoVits: Health, Taste and Facts!

2. Production - I've been gathering all the supplies I need to officially launch VincoVits including the tins, labels and ingredients!

3. Trials - over Christmas I handed out test samples to a few interested potential customers and if the feedback is satisfactory, I can begin my launch! 🎉

Here's to the start of a great year!

Finally found the perfect flavours! 😁

Introducing the delicious mango and lychee flavours 😋

I'm working on the branding and packaging over Christmas with the aim of trading in the new year! 😃

So I've been trying to get child-proof recyclable stand up pouches for my vitamins but the minimum order quantities are a bit out of my budget range 😕

Therefore, I've even wrestling with the idea of starting to sell the vitamins in these tins (that will have stickers on) that I can order by the 100s and build my way up. 🤔

What do you guys think??

This week I had the pleasure of welcoming a new business society onto the scene. 😁

I'm not sure if they're 100% on the name but I can tell you their aim is to empower female entrepreneurs 😏🤑

The Young Enterprise is a charity that helps students develop business skills by challenging them to start their own 🤓

I'm looking forward to mentoring this group for the foreseeable future 😁

New recipe, fresh batch, ready for testing 😋

Over the past few months I've been having huge problems trying to get my gummies manufactured by other companies as they would never budge on the ingredients they were willing to use...😤

So I've taken a step back, looked at the big picture, and decided that making them myself is the only way to go as I will have most of the control. 😁 I had problems with the recipe in the past, which is why I wanted to outsource in the first place, but I've been working round the clock to fix those problems and I'm almost certain I've achieved just that! 🥳

Now to get them tested and to get some pouches to sell them in. 🤩

Made a nice stir-fry with this red onion 😋 tastes good and is suggested to have a few health benefits to take advantage of!

Purple vegetables, fruit and plants contain anthocyanin which gives them this deep colour. 🍆🍇🫐

Anthocyanin can:

Be an antioxidant 🤒
Be good for your heart ❤
Help with with memory 🧠
Help with nerve health 💥

Luckily my face isn't completely purple like it should probably be right now 😅 and I've got my granola bars to get my nutrients stocked up ready for a run tomorrow morning 🏃
