Well we haven't posted for a long time but rest assured we have been very busy behind the scenes, keeping you all warm and safe. We have very few dates available for installations and sweeping between now and Christmas but don't be put off as the cold weather doesn't stop then! Here are a couple of recent installations for you to enjoy!

I've been a bit quiet on here lately but rest assured that things have been crazy over the last few months. Plenty of installs completed with many happy customers. It seems that having a stove installed is as popular as ever. Here are a few of our recent installations.

It's that time of year folks to start thinking about the winter ahead. Get that flue swept and the appliance serviced and while you're at it why not top up on some good quality fuel.

Who doesn't love a bit of exposed brick work? This stunning cottage fireplace complete with original bread oven was screaming out for a new appliance and this Charnwood C6 in bronze certainly didn't disappoint...

We love a restoration project. The results from this one speak for themselves. This very tired looking old Woodwarm Fireview came to visit us for a few days before being put back in its rightful place... plenty of years left in the old girl yet!

We ended up with some very happy customers after this project. As you can see the gas fire was removed and the fireplace opened up and finished off with a lovely slate hearth and upstand along with a decorative fire surround. A very enjoyable job from start to finish.

We had a bit of help today..... they look clean now but once they've been up inside the chimney I'm sure itll be a different story!

It's National Fire Safety Week so here's a little video just to remind you all how important it is to maintain your appliance and keep the flue clean and clear. Over 4000 chimney fires occurred last year which is quite scary considering how easy they are to prevent......

It's mad to think that two days ago this was just a blank wall. After a bit of investigating we determined that there was indeed a fireplace hiding behind the wall and that the chimney was suitable for an open fire. A couple of days later we have the finished article all ready for those cozy nights in front the tv.

The summer won't last forever - so maybe it's time to start thinking about getting the chimney swept and maybe a service on the woodburner.

We really enjoyed installing this freestanding Charnwood C-five this week. The customer decided to opt for the additional log stand and rear heatshield. It really was a great addition to the property and linked the open plan kitchen/ living room perfectly. No Chimney? No Problem..... we can construct a flue to suit your needs. This one is the 150mm Nova system in black. It's safe to say we had a some very happy customers .
