He is truly a legend in his own right!

A five piece covers band with over sixty years of professional music experience, with a playlist that many covers bands won’t even attempt!

Catering will be by a professional chef.

Drinks will be provided by “Jezebel’s” mobile bar serving beer and G&T’s with Anglia Wines also onsite providing fabulous wines.

Tickets are £17 with limited early bird tickets available for £12. Tickets, car parking and a return shuttle bus service from Marks Tey can be purchased via Skiddle.

We’re trying to do our bit for the environment so please car share, organise a lift or taxi where possible or use the provided shuttle bus from Marks Tey Station. Further details will be emailed through upon booking.

Un-fun stuff: This is a private, not-for-profit and advance ticket only event with the last date for purchasing tickets being the 14th September. There will be a strict guest list and no admission is possible without a prior ticket. The Essex Police control room have been notified of the event and security staff will be present.

Got a few shows this coming weekend.
After the Quay the next public one is at the Globe in Clare on the afternoon of Sunday 18th June. Marianne will be bashing the skins and doing her best to keep us all in time (good luck with that!), Paul will attempt to play keyboards (with both Hands this time… hopefully), I’ll be there looking dazed and confused after my recent exploits… and Jules will be wondering how the hell she got mixed up in all this in the first place! 😂
The upside is that the weather will be great, the beer is good, the venue is the best in Suffolk ( having just won an award!)… and… it will be bloody good fun… and a bloody good larf!

We've got New Year's Eve off this year... Instead the Robbie Gladwell band are playing at The Prince Of Wale,Sudbury this Saturday 2nd January. We've got Harry Green on bass (yes, on bass!) as Marty Prior is away until the new year. On Drums, the wonderful Brian Kettle and the equally wonderful Clive Lock on Sax. We start around 8:30 - 9:00pm. If you want a seat get there early and make this one of your last Christmas festivities before the January blues set in!

Dr Robert's Guitar Surgery

This guitar came in to the surgery for a set-up and adjustment. Upon examination I realised that, with a bit of basic knowledge, the owner was perfectly capable of doing this job himself. Instead he had to pay me for the basic set-up fee and for not much more he could have come on one of my day courses he could have learnt how to do the basics himself!

If you're not sure of the condition of your instruments and would like to learn how to perform basic truss-rod, action & intonation adjustments yourself, why not ask about one of my set-up courses. You will and learn more about your instrument, how to get the best out of it - plus save yourself some money!

Robbie Gladwell is to hold a ‘Diva’ concert this Saturday 21st May at Belchamp Walter Church in aid of Age UK. Robbie organises these events four or five times a year at local churches with the help of various musician friends, both well known and amateur. The proceeds go to the Essex and Suffolk branches of Age UK.

Is playing at the White Horse, north street, Sudbury, Suffolk, This Saturday with Lincoln Anderson and Adam Houghton. Starts at 9pm. A great pub and a really good local venue!
