I was talking with a client yesterday about our tendency to want to fix, to know what to do, to wrap our loved ones up in cotton wool and make it all ok!

But sometimes the greatest gift you can give someone is your time to sit, to listen, with no distraction & not give any advice.

Hear them,
Validate them,
& Be with them.

Let them feel, express and move with how they are feeling.

That is more powerful than a solution!

We can be over stimulated by what information surrounds us and my advice to you is limit what you absorb, what you read and what you listen too.

In this world with over stimulation and information at our finger tips we can forget to take a step back. To take time out and go inward to explore. Explore your voice, your mission, your expression, your art… your imprint that has value and helps so many.

You will find inspiration within you.
You will find creativity within you.
You will find your voice within you.

So isn’t the best business strategy to explore your inner world a little more? I believe that, that is when heart led action will lead you to greatness. That is when you and your business will flourish.

💣 Truth right here:

For years I never really appreciated the fact that I had a choice. The choices I made were because I thought I should, to please somebody else, or because I’d made the decision… So I best follow through… It’s the right thing to do…. (Said nobody ever!!)

CHOICES:

➡️A choice to say yes, no, can I come back to you?

➡️A choice to change your mind after you agreed to something.

➡️A choice to change pathways.

Saying yes can be as hard as saying no.

🦋Changing my mind and realising something wasn’t right for me was hard. I always thought (still think) about other peoples feelings, experiences and perspectives in my decision and that can lead to doing things that don’t feel aligned for me, to continue to appease someone else.

🦋Sometimes choice can get really tricky and tuning into what choices are right for you, particularly as a women is important.

🦋We don’t live on this planet to experience life through someone else’s needs & wants.

🦋We don’t live on this earth long enough to spend time in situations that don’t serve us.

❗️My advice to you is this

Pause and prioritise this question:

✔️Where is my nervous system at? (Go to my previous post for more)

✔️If you go ahead with a choice and it doesn’t work out the way you want it too, know that, that is absolutely ok. You CAN change your mind! It’s more than ok to. You may have changed since making the decision. Life is made up of good, bad, and everything in-between choices!

✔️Don’t beat yourself up. You will learn from the situation and grow from it. Your perspective will widen and it’ll help you see more clearly.

✔️Always know the choice is yours, not anyone else’s. They aren’t you. They aren’t your business. They aren’t your instinct. You have all of that information inside of you. Trust yourself.
