As over 700 teams compete in the O'Neills Foyle Cup I’d like to wish every one of the youths a fantastic week. A full festival of football for the next week here in the North West. What could be better. Remember folks this is a week for the kids to forge friendships, make memories and have a fun filled week. Get out and support encourage and cheer all the different age groups. I personally would like to offer good luck to my local clubs Kildrum Tigers Youths and and of course my son Darrah and my club Don Boscos Football Club.

Customised boots specially designed around our club Don Boscos Football Club and his own initials and squad number. Good Luck to all teams and young footballers this coming week. One for the Liverpool fans. Time constraints was very short for this one. So no time for Oil Paint to dry. Took a step back in time with this one to the style I started my art journey with just 3 years ago. I’m painted this portrait in Acrylic paint in a posterised style. This was left in a loose style. Sadio kindly signed this for me recently.

As I mentioned a while back I will be releasing a “Limited Edition” of 50 prints of my recent Sinead O’Connor oil painting. All profits from these prints while be donated to Pieta House a su***de and self harm counselling and support charity. This is a charity very close to my family and my heart.
I will be offering 4 variants of the print. (1) 24”x20” Canvas (2) 20”x16” Framed print (3) A3 Metal print (4) A3 Standrad Print. Each print will be numbered and signed.
I am just waiting to hear back from printers but I expect these available before Christmas and will be priced around €/£ 50-20 roughly.

I have a few big projects in the go before the end of the year folks. I am looking to get my page numbers up if possibly. I will run a like and share competition soon with prints of any of my paintings up for grabs. Not my normal Sporting Icon or family loved one but an artist that always touched my heart and deeply. Sinéad O’Connor described herself as a protest singer. An amazingly talented artist who stayed true to her beliefs. A tragic loss to this world. The World was a much better place with Sinéad in it. This is my tribute painting to Sinéad. “No One Compared”. I will be releasing canvas prints of this painting with proceeds going to Pieta House a charity for people who are in suicidal distress, those who engage in self-harm, and those bereaved by su***de. This is a charity very dear to my family’s heart.

Having taken a break from this Legends painting to complete a couple of commissions, I’ve got back at it this weekend. Got most of the blocking in completed, now time to start on detail and fine tuning.

My Portrait of the King and King of Kings 👑

Happy Birthday to the Legend that is Mr Danny McGrain. This man has been a hero of mine since I could walk and barely kick a ball. I always feel honoured when in his presence. They always say you should never meet your hero’s as they could disappoint. I could never say that about mine as I’ve been very fortunate to meet all mine and they surpasses any expectations this man’s standing out tall. Happy Birthday Danny 🍀🎉
