WREATH MAKING
This weekend I spent a wonderful evening wreath making with friends under the guidance of the incredibly talented .

These icons are the perfect extra touch to the Cards to You branding. Everyone sends a different sentiment in the cards they give to friends and family and these icons are a fun way of showing this. I love them.

Presenting my new logo design for .co.uk, a fab new greetings card delivery service with the personal touch by Rebecca Suddards.
Rebecca and I worked together to create a strong identity that she could be proud of moving forwards in her new venture.
The result is this effortlessly chic example of modern calligraphy. Simple and elegant but with tons of personality and a bright colour palette.

REVERSE LOGO
The reverse version of 'The Feed Room' logo for Cheltenham Racecourse. I think I like this one even more.

NUMBERS IN GRAPHIC DESIGN
Number 10 - ordered, rational, secure, practical. In short, fairly lacking in emotion but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
Due to these connotations the number 10 or ten can actually be effective in communicating these qualities.
For example: it works brilliantly in this image for protective gloves - it gives the feeling of trust and safety instantly.
What does the number 10 say to you?
NEW LOGO
Take a look at the exciting logo I designed for the new food offering at Cheltenham Racecourse.
The Feed Room is a food court style restaurant themed like, you guessed it, a horse's feed room.
FONT SPOTLIGHT
Take a look at Amovand, a sleek and elegant font full of artistic flair. The ligatures add a real unique quality to this logo and it’s really fun to use.

UPDATED LOGO
Similar to the Aintree Golf Course and Driving Range I worked within the new Jockey Club brand guidelines and created an Aintree Equestrian logo to work alongside the existing Aintree Racecourse identity.

I created this logo back in 2022 and I still love this logo today. It’s all about that gorgeous g shape.
Garden Releaf is a Dorset based garden maintenance company that does wonders bringing your garden to life. If you’re local you should definitely look them up.
UPDATED LOGO
An updated logo for another business at Aintree Racecourse.
The Aintree Golf Course and Driving Range logo is direct yet elegant and follows the rest of The Jockey Club logo suite.

The Grand National Golf Club is a members club at Aintree Racecourse. It needed an updated logo in keeping with the Aintree Racecourse guidelines but being a members only club it needed a slightly different treatment to usual to feel a little more special.

SNEAK PEAK
I love the initial stages of a new project, first the research and then the outpouring of ideas onto the page. All of the little ideas I’ve had throughout the research process that grow into physical design concepts.
Some instantly pop off the page whereas others twist and turn into something new. Once I’ve put together the initial presentation it’s over to my client for their thoughts. Decisions, decisions!

GREAT 1TO1 MENTOR SESSION TODAY
I’ve just had a brilliant 1 to 1 session with a lovely lady called Becky through .
My mind is now buzzing with ideas for Kelly Price Design.
I'm just having a cup of tea to digest then all before putting e final touches on a recent creative project.
Despite the rain outside today has been really exciting so far!
IT’S PINK VIBES ONLY!
In recent months it’s been all about the ladies and all about the pink in the studio and I love it!
This lettering just about sums it up.
Looking forward to showing you my newest small business branding that is hot of the press.
ALTERNATIVE COLOUR WAY
Its always good to have alternative colour ways in your brand design. This logo is still very much but the hint of mint green just adds a slight difference for those occasions when it might just be needed.
NUMBERS IN GRAPHIC DESIGN
Number 9 - OK so there’s no number 9 on here but numbers, or prices in menu design are really interesting...
Did you know that you’re more likely to pick a menu item based on price if the prices are right aligned? Whereas if they are tucked into the dish description you’re more likely to choose based on taste.
I love menu design, it’s like an intricate jigsaw puzzle and getting everything in the perfect spot is key. Have you ever heard of the sweet spot? It’s the top right hand side of a menu where designers often put the most expensive dish.

A gorgeous, unique font, Bergante is the perfect combination of elegance and fun.

LOGO VARIATIONS
Designed with the strong colour combination of black and pink I think this brand will stand out and gain lots of attention on social media for Kelly.
THE PODCAST
I can’t wait to listen to this one! Kelly from might just start a podcast, keep an eye on her Instagram account to find out when.
Given the brand is still new Kelly wanted to focus on the new brand rather than create a new identity for a podcast and I agreed. This way the ‘Kids and the Commute’ brand is the hero.

BRAND OVERVIEW
Take a look at the brand overview I created for Kelly. As a business owner there are always a million and 1 things you need to do each day so I try to make the branding side of things as simple as possible.
A brand overview contains all of the key information about your brand in a single place. Logos, icons, colour breakdowns and fonts. Many of my clients find it incredibly helpful to refer back to it every now and again.
BRAND IN ACTION
It’s always fun to see a brand in action. Take a look at this carousel I created to show off the new branding.
Being a mum of 2 young boys navigating the difficult juggle of work and parenting, this project was very close to my heart and I loved every minute of it.
Both Kelly and I are delighted with the result and I look forward to seeing how the wider brand evolves.
PERSONAL LOGO
In addition to the usual set of logos Kelly and I also loved this more personal brand logo extension using her name. Perfect for expanding horizons further into her new career.
I love how this logo still feels part of the brand due to the striking K and star combination.
