Margaret and Corinna had a great day yesterday at the @nationalmenopausesummit in the Aviva stadium, Dublin 🌟 They heard from menopause experts on topics including medical management of menopause, bone health, supporting colleagues in the workplace, intimacy concerns, exercise, mindset and more 💫 Main take away messages: 🟣 Discuss medical management with your GP or seek a referral to a menopause clinic to ensure all treatment options are explored 🟣 Stay active 🟣 Bone and heart health is paramount 🟣 Menopause is often referred to as the ‘second spring’ and we can continue to achieve great things post menopause 🟣 Workplaces should embrace the idea of having workplace champions/advocates to support menopausal women in the workplace. Today we are taking it easy 💚 We had an extremely busy week last week with @thesensorysubmarine getting things in place for the opening of the @thrivehivearmagh, and we have a few loose ends to finish this week before the information evening on Thursday 18 January 🐝🥰 We also had two very exciting meetings about new contracts and venues for OT 1:1 and OT led classes for children in various parts of Northern Ireland 🙌🏼 So, we are taking our own advice and having some much needed downtime today.
