We have had a number of complaints about missed bin collections in the Bawns recently and today Bawn Approach, Bawn Drive and Nutting Grove Terrace have been missed. They will attempt to collect in the next 2 days.

leafleting today, I managed to complete the Farnley & Wortley Five Tower Challenge, starting with Gamble Hill Croft and then Grange. Walked over to Heights West then East, finishing off with Whincover Grange

I have previously posted about LCC Youth Services setting up a youth club in Lower Wortley Community Centre which started back in April running Tuesdays, 4-5.30pm. Unfortunately no one has attended. Youth Services are now aiming to attract Year 6 pupils. If you live in the area please use suggest to kids this age that they have another fun option. If it doesn’t get used, we will lose it.
