FOSS have organised a Christmas card fundraiser, so aswell as raising much needed funds for FOSS to pay for amazing activities for our lovely children (like the panto!) you will be getting some beautifully designed creations made by your little artist to send to friends and family!
Some children brought their designs home last week the rest will come home this week.
Please complete the order form on the reverse of the design and return the form with payment (cash or cheque) to the school office by FRIDAY 12th NOVEMBER at the latest.

This morning's parkrun refreshments was followed by a spur of the moment decision to sale cakes at Berkeley Town Hall and some top cake sales skills by Kelly in Smarty Pots.
They have made a combined total of over £150 pounds which is amazing.
Thank you to everyone who baked or donated cakes. Special thanks to Eirian and girls and Lindsey for helping at parkrun, Eirian and Takara for another shift at the Town Hall and Kelly maximising sales opportunities at Smarty Pots.
Sadly in amongst the 'fun' I forgot to take a photo at parkrun but it all looked amazing.....until the sun started melting all the buttercream and chocolate!! I did manage one at the Town Hall though, alas not so impressive as much of the cake had gone and it was a very improvised set up.
Great to see some money coming into the FOSS coffers. Don't forget that we have another fundraiser coming up 15th June, a Rags to Riches clothes collection. No baking required!! :-)

To celebrate the end of SAT’s week FOSS will be giving each child a freeze pop at the end of school today! Well done kids 👏

Just a quick reminder that it's our parkrun refreshments fundraiser this Saturday. We would be very, very grateful of any cake donations. Cupcakes, traybakes, rocky road, sponges we can cut up into slices all welcome.
Please drop them off at the office tomorrow morning or at pick up tomorrow. Alternatively if you were thinking of running / walking the event you can drop it off at the event (at SGS college at Berkeley Powers Station site) in the morning.
And if anyone fancies popping along at 8.30 to help out we'd love to see you. Extra hands very welcome 🙂

Successful pre-loved uniform sale today, we managed to clear a lot of uniform and raise £45 for FOSS so thanks for your support!

We still have various sizes available so if there’s anything you need please let us know.

Drum roll…. 🥁 we made £60.60 at Stone Christmas Fayre today! The kids did a great job!! So in total we made £107.50 from the sweet Tombola this week at the Berkeley Christmas event at Smarty Pots and the fayre today!! THANK YOU for your donations and support!!!

This evening the town of Berkeley are hosting a late night Xmas shopping evening. Lots of independent businesses with stalls within existing shops.
Smarty Pots will have a Xmas Tombola to support FOSS, so if you’re around come and see us!

Rags 2 Riches collection has been cancelled!
They emailed us 6 days ago to confirm details, but after my enquiry yesterday to possibly change collection place - they have responded that they are not currently collecting due to gov advice?
A little confusing but stay safe everyone and hold onto those clothes until the next time!
