Excited to be joining The Horton Arts Centre for their April Makers Market next Saturday. This is very local for me as it's in my home town so looking forward to it. Come and join me and browse Craft products and artworks made by artists and artisans from Epsom, Surrey and across the South East.

Met some lovely customers today Christmas Fair. Back again tomorrow, come on in out of the cold for some Christmas shopping

Once again I am looking forward to the Winter Craft Fair next weekend. I'll be there on the first floor this year along with a host of other talented makers. Hope to see you there to do some early Christmas shopping and support small and independent businesses!

Here's a little collection of dishes made using the same technique. Fun to do as it involves smashing a piece of glass and then putting it back together again and filling the gaps with other colours! Here I've used colours that react with each other in the kiln to get some interesting reactions. 🤩

So excited to be selling in person again on Saturday June 12th at the Denbies Shopfest event again. Government guidelines will be followed of course, but hopefully it will be a welcome change from shopping on line. See you there!

Finally finished this multicoloured platter I was making from the squashed glass piece. Not the matt finish I wanted as I failed to cold work the edges enough so I had to fire it hotter to get rounded edges. Oh well still looks good with a shiny finish. Another squashed glass piece out of the kiln! This time using opalescent glass. Interesting reactions on the edges of some colours. The Bullseye Steel Blue has mostly kept it's colour apart from some edges. I won't be fire polishing as I like the matte finish from the shelves. I shall square it off, cold work the edges and slump in a shallow mould.

My next squashed glass technique piece just gone in to the kiln. This time I've used opalescent Now the long wait for the complete firing in my trusty Hobbyfuser🤞 Hopefully all done by Tuesday

Playing around with my new camera and snapped these brave little cyclamen flowering away despite the freezing cold weather
