My top wallpapering tips that I have learnt through trial and error.
1. Remember to measure precisely, do it twice, and watch out for any hidden pattern repeats. Those need to be factored into your calculations! If you want to know how to do this, see my earlier post on how to measure and calculate for wallpaper(part 1 & 2).
2. Create a straight vertical line in pencil down the wall using a plumb line or a spirit level to make sure that your wallpaper drops align. This is a game changer. Not all walls or corners are straight…
3. Consider where you want the pattern to begin when hanging your first strip of wallpaper. This is well worth doing, especially with a large pattern repeat and/or you are investing in a statement wallpaper.
4. Paste the wall paste is so much easier and is forgiving. Use a roller to apply this. It is definitely the best option for our wallpapers, do you research on which brand to use.
5. Always have a damp cloth to hand and make sure you wipe any excess paste off as soon as possible.

Dopamine dressing is a term used when you wear things that bring you joy. I may be a little late to the party but I only heard of this recently while on a PR Masterclass hosted by the fabulous Amanda FitzGerald. It got me thinking.. about dopamine decor which it turns out is actually a thing!
Dopamine decor is precisely my aim. I create these wallpapers because they bring me such joy - it's all about the feelings you get when you see them and how they make you feel in a space. I want to share that joy with others. So if you want a bit of a dopamine decor kick, click on the link below and head over to my website and start your dopamine decor journey.
Ordering samples is a great way to find out whether a wallpaper design is going to bring you joy!

A huge thank you to everyone who took part and voted. It was really helpful and interesting to get the feedback.
In the end there was not much between the wallpapers, but Kitito and Zebra Parade were definitely the firm favourites.
If you are planning to roll up your sleeves and do some wallpapering. Here is my recommended tool list
📏tape measure - you need this to measure your walls BEFORE you buy your wallpaper, measure twice!
🫧 sugar soap to clean the wall
✏️sharp pencil
📐plumb line/spirit level - essential for drawing a guide before putting up your first drop to make sure it is straight.
🪣paint tray and roller - to hold wallpaper paste and roller to apply paste to wallpaper
🎨 wallpaper paste - much better, in my humble opinion, than mix your own varieties
🧹 wallpaper brush - to smooth the wallpaper onto the wall
🛢 roller to smooth down joins between drops
✂️ sharp scissors
🔪 sharp craft knife
📏 metal ruler
🧽 damp sponge /cloth to wipe off any excess wallpaper paste.
