Busy start to the new year with water pipes and flailing stockpiles ready for earthworks to begin could be another busy year
It’s been a while since we posted so just some brief snapshots into what we have been getting up to over the last couple of months M and M Pipeworks ltd

Ideal applicant would ideally have experience in general groundwork’s and be willing to broaden their skills in other various aspects of construction and civil engineering

Ground worker needed
Nice sunny morning over at Pitsea for the lads Butt Fusing 160mm pipe together ready to be buried for a new Scavenger Gas system

Over 400 metres installed complete last week looking for the finish line this week got a lot to do and some tricky bits to navigate but we got this 🙌
Busy start to the week for the lads at Rainham prepping and installing 900 metres worth of litter fence so all steam ahead all busy busy
All still full steam ahead for the guys down in Thurrock this week, landfill doesn’t stop for Christmas with us replacing air lines, relocating pumping mains for diversions and new road crossing ready to receive a replacement cable in the new year.

Bit of a surface water ditch maintenance
Another callout job today customer found a leak by their water meter we were quick to respond, fitting a new coupler getting the water back on with no leaks all back to normal and backfilled
Restorations soon coming to a close for our lads over at Rainham after battling high winds and torrential rain along the way but with our efforts and other sub contractors we will soon have it all wrapped up and all set for another year and then on to the next job for the next coming weeks mgmconstruction
Customer needed a 225mm mdpe pumping pipe cut,reduced and re connected.
We were able to mobilise and be on site within the hour to complete, refit and restart all on a Friday afternoon
Busy few weeks at Rainham prepping areas for lining and jumping in with other contractors deploying liner keeping works going
Installing a new cable for Ukpn at a site in pluckley.
Areas strippedof vegetation ,trench dug,cable layed,sanded and marker tape installed ready for backfill and concrete slab to be set on Monday for the kiosk
Weeks come to a close for the lads at Rainham off we go to another site next week we are getting around smashing the work out

Busy week again for our lads at Pistea burying flow lines and changing direction of wells for optimal falls.
Our work is never done even with bank holiday we were able to assist a customer with a water main repair over the weekend and at short notice, we were able to mobilise,find the fault isolate and repair within a matter of hours
That’s the week all wrapped up for the gang at south ockendon getting the the job done connecting leachate towers for gas extraction,help erecting litter fencing, helping out the site team moving cover soils up to the tipping area and to finish up the day prepping a machine for transport Monday to our next site 👌👍
Another busy week already for our lads at south ockendon repairing leachate mains,raising side risers and making temporary connections for gas extraction
Another busy week for the gang over in south ockendon raising wells,cutting benches so our lads can work safely and we finished up the week with an ecologist on site removing newt fencing and rehoming over 1400 newts

Starting off the week raising 250mm pipe risers from the bottom of the landfill ready to be connected to the pumping system with new head works to be installed at a later date.
We have to comply with cqa instructions as being in the edge of the landfill clay has to be compacted in layers to ensure a good seal to contain gases and liquids

Finishing of the last of the coils this afternoon over 3,400 metres worth and no doubt there will be more to come 💪🤙

Just a little bit sticky out today bit wet to move any muck but as always there’s plenty of pipe to pull out
Access track over a new culvert installed with Geo-grid finish the week off along with over 400 metres of 90mm leachate pumping main all buried backfilled tidy for restorations next week we always one step in front and there’s still plenty more pipe to go in yet 💪👊

Busy week for the team over at south ockendon catching up with all the jobs we couldn’t get done due to the weather but cracking on regardless of the weather hot or cold wet or windy we will get the job done somehow 👊🙌✌️

Busy week out in the scorching heat this week for the team over at south ockendon installing fencing around a new lagoon engineered for on site dust suppression, leachate recirculation system finally finished off to outlet at one of the highest points of the tipping area and the good old favourite pulling out coiled pipe ready for the big push on flow lines for restorations
