We are currently looking for people who are looking for a new challenge within the water damage Industry, we are looking for someone passionate about helping policyholders , going through extra mile to get them back into their property as quickly as possible.

As a claims handler you will be responsible for managing the claim throughout its lifecycle, ensuring that all parties are kept informed of progress, your responsibilities would include :

• Take reports of new claims from our clients / customers and allocating to appropriate engineers.
• Close liaison with all interested parties throughout the claim lifecycle.
• Answer and manage all calls in an efficient, professional and empathetic manner.
• Identify and respond to customer needs, proactively communicating to reduce failure demand.
• Provide support for our restoration technicians, communicating challenges and helping to problem solve any issues.
• Update the online claims management system and any other online system.
• Manage claims from end-to-end, ensuring they are closed in a timely manner and that subsequent invoicing is clear and consistent.
• Identify and handle complaints and escalate to the team leader as necessary.

• Ensure processing deadlines are met as required.
• Develop technical knowledge in order to support engineers and insurance companies.
• Other duties as delegated from time to time by your line manager or any other person designated in their absence.
Requirements
• Knowledge or experience of claims is ideal however we will consider candidates who have experience of working in a customer facing/office environment
• Highly organised, good level of attention to detail and can prioritise a busy workload
• Ability to manage complex situations
• Ability to utilise qualities such as empathy, tact, assertiveness and diplomacy when talking to our customers, understanding that our customer could be distraught and concerned following an incident.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Active listening skills
• Aptitude to make real time decisions based on changing information
• Ability to manage own workload and work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Strong relationship building skills

Buckfest normally gets through thousands of single-use plastic cups every year. Last year alone we threw away 18000 single-use cups at the end of the event. The environmental impact of that is unsustainable and we decided we had to change. The majority of those cups were compostable or easily recycled so we are already trying to be responsible. However, the plan for this year takes it to the next level.

This year, all bars at Buckfest will be providing drinks solely in reusable plastic cups. No deposit is required for your first cup which will be given to you as you enter the site, and no additional fee will be charged if you bring your used cup back to the bar. There will also be 2 cup collection stations on site where, on returning your cup, you will be presented with a token. This can be used at any bar to obtain a new cup.

Coming to any bar without either a cup or a token will result in a charge of £1 being added to your drink - so bring those cups back!

The different bars may be using different cups, but returning any cup to any of the bars will avoid the additional £1 charge.

Note that the £1 charge is NOT a deposit and will not be refunded. Rocking up to the bar with 10 cups is helpful to us but will not gain you anything - unless you are buying 10 more drinks!

We want to retain as many of the cups for use at future Buckfests as possible so please return them to the bar or washing stations and definitely do not put them in the bin! There will be cup collection points at the exits at the end of the event.

An opportunity has arisen for a Leak Detection Engineer to work with us, a leading leak detection & restoration company, on a full time, permanent basis in the Cambridge and surrounding regions.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing the best solution to all leak detection/trace, access and fix instructions in the most cost effective and profitable manner and carry out moisture surveys where needed.

Duties:
- Carry out leak detection jobs covering all regions as required.

- Moisture surveys and writing technical reports.

- Trace & Access and fix of hidden pipe work.

- Wanting to progress into water damage restoration.

Candidate Criteria:
- Full UK driving licence
- Basic plumbing skills
- IT literate
- Strong customer service
