Birthday workout done 💪. My gift to myself. What an honour it is to have reached this age with a strong healthy body - hopefully getting stronger every day. Thanks to my fabulous trainer for pushing me and seeing my potential! I’m blessed to have a loving and supportive husband, beautiful daughter, and amazing friends.

Post menopause can be a positive phase of life…I had my own fun and games in the peri to post menopause transition, but by implementing all the ‘things’ I can safely say I feel great…better than in my 30’s and 40’s. 😘🥰❤️

I’m hotter than a hot thing in a hot place right now! Staying out of the sun until it gets cooler, and hoping for a thunderstorm!! It’s lovely to have some sun, but for me it’s too hot 🥵

For those of you experiencing hot flushes as well, I see you… stay hydrated; avoid alcohol, tea and coffee (they can act as diuretics and cause dehydration); have a cool or cold shower or bath to lower your body temperature - applying ice to wrists and sides of the neck can help too; light clothing (but you already knew this, right?!)…personally I’ve been walking round the house naked most of the day!! And simply stay out of the sun!

Some good news!

Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease is suffered by about 20% of post menopausal women, but research has shown that transdermal HRT reduced by up to 24% in a year!

It’s not polished or pretty…It’s pink noses and cheeks, sweating, grimacing, and sometimes downright ugly!! But that’s ok, because the work pays off…It’s worth it to feel great - and look great…once you’ve had a shower 😂

Hello, it’s time to introduce myself!

I’m Sarah - a psychotherapist of 12 years, and now offering Menopause Support.

In a session with me we can talk about what you are experiencing during your peri to post menopause transition, and find solutions to help you with your symptoms and get you feeling great again 😃.

We will explore diet, supplements, movement and lifestyle changes, as well as other lifestyle changes to get from feeling ‘meh’ to feeling ‘woohoo’! And yes, it’s possible - I’ve done it myself and feel better now than I did in my 30’s!

We can also discuss HRT options if that’s something you want to consider - I’ve completed specialist training in HRT, and although I can’t prescribe, I can arm you with all the info you need to take to your GP.

Well hello! It’s been a long time!

I’ve not been feeling social media for quite some time. I’ve needed time to regenerate and reenergise. It’s been a time of nurturing and learning, and bringing things together.

You’ll notice some changes here. A new space.

I’m still teaching yoga, and dance but it’s not my main focus anymore. Today seemed like a good day to launch my new venture!

Like many other woman out there, I’ve spent my fair share of time feeling crap through this transition. But, being stubborn (I’m a Ta**us!) I wasn’t going to put up with it! I dealt with my symptoms naturally for 7 years, and finally decided it was time for HRT earlier this year. During that time, I’ve educated myself on what works and what doesn’t work, I’ve completed in-depth courses on menopause (including specialist training on HRT), and I’ve put all I’ve learned into practice on myself.

Now I’m putting myself out there to help you! You may be a woman in menopause who feels lost and overwhelmed, you may be partner to or a child of a menopause woman who doesn’t understand what’s happening.

The peri to post menopausal transition can be so full of change - not just hormonal, but in relationships, career. Children leaving home, caring for ageing parents can take their toll. Add the changes happening in your body…🤯

My job is to guide, advise, support and be your cheerleader through this transition, and get you feeling your absolute best. Combining psychotherapeutic methods, good nutrition, exercise, advising on supplements, advising on HRT, and helping you bring together a personalised plan so that you can completely rock your menopause!!

I can honestly say I feel better now than I did in my 30’s (I’m 52).
