When you have booked your fabulous wedding venue in another country, the next thing is to consider the logistics of getting your wedding items there!

So when you get excited during your wedding dress appointments, remember to ask these questions:

1. Will the dress I have chosen fit into a cabin-size bag or box? Always travel with your dress as your hand luggage, the last thing you want is for your dress to get lost in transit!

2. Do you provide a dress packing service to put my dress in a travel box?

3. Ask during your dress appointments if there are any tips for steaming your dress once you get to your destination.

Transporting your dress to your wedding venue is only half of the battle! Once you arrive, your dress will need some TLC. So ask your venue ahead of time if they have a steamer you can use or even a laundry service that can press and steam your wedding dress as well as your bridesmaid's dresses.

Top Tips for Bridal Prep Photos

If you want to get stunning portraits and girls' photos on your wedding morning, read our expert advice so you get the shots you've been dreaming of 🤍

1 - Book your wedding photographer to arrive at least 1 hour before you put on your wedding dress. This way you have time to get group photos in your getting-ready outfits.

2 - If you want photos of champagne or bubbly, remember to order this from the hotel or bring it with you and keep it chilled 🍾

3 - Choose your bridal prep room carefully so that it has enough space for you and your bridal party so it won't look cramped in photos. Also, select a room with lots of natural light for those bright and airy romantic-style photos.

4 - Dedicate 1 person to help you get into your wedding dress, this makes it more efficient and will keep you calm as you put your dress on.

5. Keep the room as tidy as you can, and allocate one side of the room for your hair and makeup artist. This way at least one half of the room will be tidy for photos!
