Been to a wonderful village show this weekend at Sutton upon Trent - where they have a great bric a brac tent and a fantastic book stall. I Picked up a few books first thing on the Saturday morning and then on the Sunday afternoon it was a bag full for a pound - how great is that!
The thing is - now that i have a kindle - i rarely read a book (a real one with paper..) but who can resist a bargain like that?
I know some authors think that happy endings are cliche but there's a reason for that ............ Dah!!! We want to feel good at the end of the book - not sit there wondering why we bothered to read it....
Talking books - I can highly recommend The Hunger Games - although i think the editors should be shot for the appalling ending.
However - don't let that put you off - its so good - Rarely is a film as good as the book and this is no exception .........
90% through the last 50 shades book- which as i said got much better from book 2. when all of a sudden my kindle froze. Half Kindle - half at rest screen. Could not be more annoying. However, the nice people at Amazon have sent me a new one - I guess they know how us women can be 90% through an erotic book........................
Just beefing up the honeymoon scenes in the sequel ;)
May just keep the lights on ;);)
50 shades of Grey is just Remi with loads of s*x
Thats where i went wrong ..................
Drew kinayle is back on the road again!
For everyone who has read the book and understands Remi – I'd like to impart my latest, true life, Remi Moment.
Early in the year I took my book into the local library, which up until that day - they must have thought I was an employee, as I was in and out so often. They kindly said they would pass it on to the guy who orders in the books to see if they could stock it. I left my telephone number but heard nothing.
I was so embarrassed. I was so sure they must have hated the book. Probably thought I was a complete fraud. I haven't been in since. In fact – I've even walked the long way round the town to avoid passing it by.
Then – this week. I had a phone call.... from the library! They were surprised I hadn't been in. They had all read the book... and loved it! Its been on the shelf since June and, amazingly, been in demand. They wanted to know if I could come in as a guest author and sell signed copies of my book.
I was so surprised and hugely relieved. Yet all I could think to say was – 'Thank goodness – I can come back to the library again.'
So - we had just pulled away from a show and some people were crossing the road in front of our vehicle. As we passed we noticed the man had a see through carrier bag and inside was my book - that's a first -Brilliant !
Ones To Watch #11: Rhys Aliker Heard of Frank Turner? Thought so! Well then get listening to Rhys Aliker….NOW! An acoustic guitar player from Peterborough, this guy puts sooo many of the archetypal singer/songwriter types to s...
Yeh..The new books with the new cover are finally here. Will post a new picture soon.
To everyone who has bought the book - a big thank you. Other than a few on amazon, the book has completely sold out of the first edition. The second edition is due out this week. The new book has a new cover design and is in a smaller format. Thank you to everone who shared their thoughts about the design of the book. Hold on to your copies - They are now a limited edition - ~Who knows ~ they may be worth something one day!! Drew x

Have you ever met someone famous?
Were they as you expected?
Just been to a book signing with Robert Goddard. If you haven't read one of his books - you must! His books are quite deep, beautifully written, excellent story lines, and full of twists. I expected him to be a little solemn and a little grave but he was witty and articulate and the hour just flew by. What a joy to meet someone you revere and find out they are so much nicer than you could ever have expected -

TO ALL THOSE WHO HAVE READ THE BOOK***
It may be going for a reprint - if so - now would be the time to change something. Would you be totally honest about the cover for me.
thank you so much

Did you like the cover?
Did it make you want to read the book?
Are you swayed by a cover when buying a book?
Would you have bought Who Cares in a shop after looking at the cover?
Did the cover portray what the book was about?
I'm pleased to say that, due to so many people asking, i am now in the throws of writing the sequel to Who Cares? Your comments and suggestions have been amazing and I hope you will all enjoy the second one, as much as i am enjoying writing it. Drew x

Save Killyleagh Library Campaign is underway and gaining support and momentum. Please find us and take a look. We are a small town on the western shore of Strangford Lough in Northern Ireland and boy do we need our library to remain open.
First 'Celeb' review!!
Lorraine Kelly from Daybreak sent a hand written note to say she really enjoyed it....
Also - Our first 'man' review !!
We have started a new discussion for those of you who have read the book. As it may contain parts of the storyline - we wouldn't advise those who have not read the book yet, to read it. All the information will be looked at by the team and may be used in advertising when approaching book shops and reviewers. Many thanks - as always.
If anyone has any ideas on how to promote the book - or if anyone knows anyone who may be able to help - please post here or contact us direct ................thanks
I have just found out that if Library's get lots of request for certain books - they will order them in for the shelves. If you have not read Who Cares? and would like to - please contact your local library and ask them to order it for you. thank you so much Drew x
