Finished
Nearly there now
I love working on a Sunday morning, it's so calm and peaceful
I've managed to get some time to work on this which is fun
The result of a lovely peaceful Sunday afternoon doodling
I try to leave work on a Friday that tempts me back on Monday morning. The background is nearly finished and then for the birds!
I love it when there is lots of colour on my desk. My colour study for 'The Ruins Beehive' and some assorted tin Easter eggs being painted.
I love using tiny tiles but it takes so much concentration
Happy Valentines Day
Shiny birds
I am having a lovely Sunday morning listening to the Archers Omnibus drinking tea and designing birds
My nine pictures for 2023 (if you count two fish and two birds, I couldn't get nine of my images to fit nicely into a square). 2023 was a pleasure and I am looking forward to 2024. Happy New Year x
Last tin picture this year but I have now worked out repousse work and then back-filled the hare with beeswax so I am celebrating a new skill.
Yep, still tin ...
My tin and enamel obsession is ongoing ...
Last bird picture for a while, I'm starting on a shoal of goldfish now!
For the people who were worried about the white edges... now there's enough gold
Still not quite enough gold!
I am back to proper work now so will have to leave my beaten up old biscuit tin Christmas baubles for a while (five more on the desk). They are very relaxing to do and I am recycling so I can feel virtuous at the same time!
Still slightly fixated with painting on tin
Evidence of procrastination - I should be writing but I am doodling on bits of old cake tins
All finished! I've just had a lovely morning putting my exhibition up in Topsham museum. It's a lovely place to exhibit and the white walls are brilliant for mosaics.
Nearly finished
Now that I've got the eye in place the hare is coming together
The end of the week and I am glad to put the nippers down
Another fish for my shoal
Feeling blue this Friday afternoon!
Highlights of 2022
I love this time of year where no-one questions how much 'bling' you use!
The antidote to a grey overcast cold Monday morning
