On Thursday 7th October, 5:30pm til 8pm, we will be holding our ‘Give it a Go’ session completely free to attend for students. If you would like to attend simply send us a message and we will get it sorted!

Looking forward to seeing everyone at the society’s fair on Wednesday! We will be inside the main sports hall so come check us out!

Dry slope starts again tonight!

Meeting at ember at 5pm, if you are wanting lessons it will be around £13 and £10 for rec sessions.

So for Chill Factore were gonna meet up at the LRV car park at 5:40 (don't be late)

Be sure to bring:
-Warm & waterproof clothing
-Thick socks
-Gloves
and a change of clothes so you're dry on the way home

Feel free to bring your own helmet, (though they are provided there if you need one)
Also feel free to bring your own boards or ski's

Dry slopes as usual. Snowborders final lesson is today so if you have a membership you pay nothing, if not you pay normal lesson price. All Skiers pay £8 for rec.

So dry slopes tonight as usual (5:15 at Ember Lounge for transport). This week it is a recreational session for everyone and will cost £8 per person (please bring exact change if you can).

Boarders however are owed one more lesson included in there membership which is happening next week.

If you haven’t already, if you could grab your membership from the union website and officially become a member of SnowSports! This membership includes 5 recreational sessions at the dry slope, it also gets you discounts on any events we run throughout the year.
If you do this by the 13th of October the Students Union will match the price, giving us more funding to run events and discount trips to things like Chill Factore - which committee are in the process of booking for when everyone has completed their block lessons!

Hi, this week will be the second dry slopes session. As its no longer give it a go, the price is £13 for lesson or £12 for rec. Alternatively i recommend you become a SUSC member through our student union page. this works out way cheaper and gets you other bonuses too.

We meet today at 5.15 in the Ember Lounge for free transport there. lessons included so beginners are welcome.

Bring gloves and a thick jacket or hoodie. (if you don't have any gloves you can get some cheap ones there)

It's First dry slope session of the year this Thursday! if you ever wanted to learn how to Ski or Snowboard this is your chance.

it cost only £10 for this first give it a go session, or become a member on the SUSC on the student union website to get 6 lessons, plus discounted sessions after that for £45, working out at only £7.50 per 2 hour session.

We’re going to be doing one final Chill Factore Session this Friday (21st June) leaving at 11am from Ember Lounge for any members still around Uni. Tickets are only £1 (includes travel and a 2 hour lift pass) and can be found on the union website under the snowsports society page. Hope to see a few of you there for a final Chill of the year ✌️

We’re going to be running a Chill Factore session this Wednesday (27th) for £1. This includes travel, ski/gear rental if needed and a 2 hour lift pass.
We will be meeting at 3pm in ember, feel free to also bring your own gear if you have it.
