Last year we ran a special set of online Ramadhan sessions that connected the beautiful names of Allah (Al Ahad, As Sami, Ar Razzaq and Al Wadud) with the Holy month of Ramadhan, not only teaching the magic of these names but also how to embody His names in our daily lives.

It included all our ILM favourites from mystery boxes, guessing games, Arabic alphabets, crafts and even some unique features for Ramadhan! Look forward to great stories and catchy original songs that will get your kids experiencing this month like never before!

This year although we are not in town, you may purchase last year's recorded session for a a discounted price of only £20 per family! These recorded links will be emailed to you to watch in your convenient time throughout the month of Ramadhan. The link will expire at the end of Ramadhan.

We have some exciting news - it has been a very long time, but Inspiring Little Minds (ILM) is back for a special set of online Ramadhan sessions that will connect the beautiful names of Allah with the Holy month of Ramadhan, suitable for children aged 3-8.

We will have all of our ILM favourites with mystery boxes, guessing games, Arabic alphabets, crafts and even some unique features for Ramadhan! Look forward to great stories and catchy songs that will get your kids experiencing this month like never before!

Sessions will be held weekly. You can choose a Saturday class (2pm UK time - starts 9th April) or a Sunday class (4pm UK time - starts 10th April).

The classes will be held virtually over Zoom and a link will be sent out in advance of the series. Printable resources will be sent to you prior to each class.

The cost for this series is £40 for the 4 weeks, and siblings are allowed to join on the same screen. All proceeds will be going towards a charity.

As some of you might know, I’ve had a baby recently so things have been very quiet here. Inshallah when things settle I’ll be starting live classes again soon.

I will however be running a one-off interactive zoom session this month to raise funds for the Children's Islamic Library. The children will be running around playing a quick feet game, singing, doing crafts and hopefully enjoy themselves and get the feel of this special month through an exciting lesson. I will send more information about this session shortly.

With the holy month of Ramadhan right around the corner, you might recall we created child friendly Ramadhan dua printables to help children learn and understand the meaning of these daily duas, through visuals and simplified language.

This year we have created a second dua printable. Please feel free to print these for your children and share with those who you think will benefit.

ILM session 1 | Bismillah Today we're learning about the word 'Bismillah'. Don't forget to comment below with the answers to Aunty Sarah's question today.

What a perfect end to our Dhikr O’clock learning about the word . The children learned through playdough experiments, pictures and even an outdoor exploration that Allah (swt) is the best of creators and deserves all our praise and glory-Subhanallah! Thanks to for the rainbow craft which we adapted to fit our class perfectly.

We had a wonderful last week at learning all about the letter ‘ر’ and the fruit ‘rutab’ in the Quran. The children also learned to say the word ‘Alhamdulillah’ through songs, stories and visuals.

On our third and fourth week at ILM’s Dhikr series the children learned about the words ‘astaghfirullah’ and ‘Alhamdullilah’

Through experiments, visuals lessons the children understood the value of these words and how to incorporate them into their daily lives.

Through singing, games, stories and crafts the children had an all-senses opportunity to explore these words :-)

Another great two weeks at ILM tots 🙂

The third week of our ‘Foods in the Quran’ series the children learned about the fruit ‘Rumaan’ and the importance of brushing in Islam. The fourth week they learned about ‘Zaytoon’ and how we should eat foods that are ‘tayaab’ like fruits and vegetables.

With lots of singing, stories, posting and cooking-the kids had a lovely time learning about these beautiful foods!

We’ve had a great first two weeks at ILM Tots ‘Foods In The Quran’ Series learning, tasting and cooking some of the fruits mentioned in the Quran! With songs, stories, parachutes, bubbles and cooking-the little ones have lots of exciting ways to connect with and love the teachings of the Holy Quran :-)

Our second week of the Dhikr Series, the children learned the word ‘Bismillah’. They learned about the ‘magic’ hidden in the word Bismillah and how they can use this word to get the best helper in the world to be by their side whenever they do anything-Allah (swt).

They played a fun game to discover when to say Bismillah, sang songs, read books, and created their own Bismillah mobiles to remind them to say Bismillah before everything!

We’ve had a wonderful start to our new Dhikr Series! In this series the children will be taught different words Muslims use daily to be reminded of Allah (swt) and to help them earn blessings and help from Allah (swt) throughout their day.

The first week they learned the value of ‘Salaamun Alaikum’. The children learned about value in saying salaam first, played games to ‘rush’ to say salaam and earn blessings, read stories, sang songs and made a salaam door hanger for their rooms!

They ended the day with a special dhikr o’clock 5 corners game :-)

We're very excited to announce our next new series of ILM classes titled 'Dhikr O'Clock' coming out in January 2020 inshAllah!

This series aims to help our children understand and use Islamic language in their day to day lives. Words like Salaam, Bismillah and Alhamdulillah will be explained to them in exciting ways using stories, crafts, visuals, games and even experiments and will be inshAllah rolling naturally from their tongues after!

These classes are aimed for children between 4-7 years old.
