Sailing is about getting away from it all for a while. Put the phone down, play a few games and have a laugh. Get in touch if you would like to do something special this summer. Day sails, night sails, weekend breaks or longer. Rathlin, Islay, Holy Island or Isle of Man are all open to you. Where will your adventure take you?

We have reached the end of one journey, but it has just opened my eyes to the way ahead. We have wonderful biodiversity and marine life around us and it's our duty to protect it. There are many simple steps we can take which will make a difference. Thanks to The Tourism Space and Tourism NI for a fantastic sustainability program.

Fantastic day at Brook Hall Estate and Gardens, with the best lunch I've had for years, thanks to Lo & Slo BBQ skills. Never thought I'd get emotional about trees, but this garden has a lot of stories to tell. Keep up the good work, David & team.

It was a privilege to be invited inside Blackhead Lighthouse tower yesterday. Six ton of lenses rotating on a bed of mercury; epic Victorian engineering.
The lock-keepers cottages are now available as guest houses. Great venue for a murder mystery weekend.
Get in touch if you would like to sail around a few of these iconic buildings.

It's easy to keep a small carbon footprint when Mother Nature gives us wind like this to play with.

We're about to start a 3 month journey, but not in the boat this time.
We're excited to be taking part in a new programme for sustainability within our business.
Thanks to Tourism Northern Ireland and The Tourism Space for creating this opportunity. Looking forward to some reflection, learning and action!

Sorry this is all delayed but our first crew change happened in Penzance, now for the father daughter duo crossing the English Channel to Brest.
This wasn’t going to come without a few challenges along the way though…When you have to get the mallet out on the boat it’s never a good day 🤣💨

Even with the extensive preparation and planning this first passage was very humbling for us all. In the wrath of the Irish Sea, beating upwind through force 5/6 winds, taking on more water than we could get out, everyone was sick, cold and wet… it was hard to continue! Sea sickness can be such a hard thing to overcome but with a few stops along the way we had our first crew change in Penzance! Thank you to the soldiers from the first leg, it was a tough one 🫡

One thing we can’t forget is we still live in Northern Ireland 🤣 expect rain, and be delighted if it doesn’t… a warm cup of tea, and the Bimini pulled over keeps the smiles big and clothes dry ☔️☔️
