Before I start ‘please ignore my very dry cuticles, I clean, garden etc and don’t wear gloves and I’ve naturally got very dry skin, and I don’t follow my own advice of cuticle oil 🤷🏽‍♀️ Please ignore the cuts, I’ve got a really bad habit of picking my skin. Please ignore the miss-shapen nail, I’ve had these on for over 4 weeks and I catch them with the nail file when doing other peoples nails’….. now 😆 I just really wanted to share this as I’ve just trapped my finger in a wooden folding table 😳 I shouted that loud, my neighbours will possibly be concerned 😆 but just look at my unaffected gel nail 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 the flexibility of Magpies give me strength means that it’s able to move without chipping or cracking, yet strong enough to stay put! Witchcraft in my opinion 🤣 but ouch, my poor nail and finger!!!

Gel polish plus (similar to BIAB) infill on natural nails 💅🏼

Everyone seems to ask for BIAB at the minute, BIAB is Builder in a bottle from a brand “the gel bottle”

Most other brands have something similar. I use the brand Magpie, they have a number of gels suitable for a natural nail overlay. For weaker nails, or to extend slightly eg, nail repairs, I use Build me up (also similar to BIAB). My favourite gel to use is Magpies Give me strength (gel polish plus on my price list) as it’s a hybrid between a brush on builder and gel polish. It has the strength of a builder gel if applied a certain way, and the flexibility of a gel polish, which means it will grow with your natural nail shape, not against it.

I get clients coming back after 4+ weeks without a chip or lift with give me strength. I love it!!

Just a bit of info as I know it can be confusing there’s that many gel options out there 😘

Holiday nails ☀️

But oh my poor client! To start, I am still getting used to a few new products, the art gel paints In particular. So I sent her away Friday not 100% happy with my work (which I simply can’t bare) so I asked her to come back today so I could fix it, which worked out great as she’d changed her mind and wanted the silver, black. So off she went, and I’d forgot glitter in one thumb 😳 thankfully she come back straight away and it was easily fixed. Absolute brain fart!
Moral of the story…. We all make mistakes, but with me, you will always, in the end, leave with perfect nails that you love 🧡 (this is not a regular situation btw) … I personally like to take my time on nails and make sure you’re getting your monies worth and are 110% happy!
