Today's plan was for and I to do the bulk of the heavy work before letting the feather weights fly from the bottom of the finishing climb. Plans were nearly scuppered off the start line when 2 minutes before the green light I got a puncture, a quick wheel change saved the day!

My humble steed for the day was no other than the legend .94 pushy, where I hoped he had left some of his power for me to face Whinlatter pass🤞 (He hadn't 😂)

I think I would be lieing if I said I was looking forward to not one but two times up Whinlatter pass on tomorrow's brutal stage. Let's hope good legs are on my side 🙏

Last night was a success on many levels! The organisation, racing and crowds were absolutely fantastic. The Newport Nocturne has to be amongst on of the best British races for sure! The night was topped off by taking the win infront of a home crowd aswell as it being a strong race for all of . Big thanks to .94 for his power house turns and also to for his awesome lead out. Special thanks to Nick and DiJeggo and all involved for hosting a great night and bike race 🚴‍♂️ (Fantastic images - )

First UCI race today for Ended up 15th. Lady luck not on my side with punctures and a bike change. I don't even remember being that cold in tour of Normandy.

A week today I will be competing in the Ip at the National Track championships. This will be one of the toughest IP's in the years I have ridden it. Some amazing times have been set by the like of my two new team mate from .94 i haven't even begun to mention the squad members. Will be extremely hard just to even Podium! .

Fantastic team performance last night gaining us win of the evening and also the overall win. It was great to be teamed up with some talented youngsters who brought a strong race game. Thanks to for this great pic👌

First Race of 2018. Andy Got an individual win and 2x second places. The icing on the cake however was taking one step up the podium to take the overall with PedalSure in the Revolution series.

It's been a great 3 years with . Thanks to all the staff, team mates and sponsors over the years for making it possible. An especially big thanks goes to who pitched the idea to me as I made him a coffee in our house at the commonwealth games. .

More snow means a steady ride on the mtb. I have the mental strength to do a specfic session on a turbo but just riding I still can't manage. Think I may need to try

Since returning from Germany training hasn't gone quite as planned. On return I found out I had shingles which has meant a few days off resting up waiting for my spots to scab (like being a child again) To add to it I now look like I've had a few rounds with Mike Tyson after being in a fight with a bee! Hopefully next week will see me back on track pushing the pedals.

Yesterday i travelled to Germany for some outdoor track racing. It was planned that i would race the Omnium, Madison and a UCI scratch but unfortunately the weather had other ideas which resulted in an early finish to today's racing.
