AGM day, with the meeting taking place at 10.30am.
Some big changes are predicted...
Congratulations to Annfield Plain Demi who clinched the Division Three title as a result of last night's 7-2 victory over Consett Supa Snooker.
Their main rivals High Handenhold Bird Inn topped the table throughout the season but Demi pipped them to the crown on goal difference only, matching their rivals' total of 13 wins from their 14 league games.
Going into the final three games, Demi were six goals worse off than Bird but a total of 26 goals scored and just three conceded meant the Demi were 17 goals better off in the end.
Congratulations to Consett Scotch Arms on lifting the Division One title.
Goals from Adam Knowles, Andrew Whitfield, Dan Walker, David Parker and Joe Craig secured a 5-1 victory over Consett Demi to wrap up the league with one game to go. Tom Lavery hit a consolation.
Annfield Plain Demi need a repeat win over Consett Supa Snooker tomorrow evening to loft the Division Three title. A hat trick from Jonnie Hewitson, doubles from Kai Hewitson and Jake Hall and singles from Dan Punton and Colin Snailham earned them a 9-1 victory against Supa Snooker who had Andrew Wrightson on target.
Lanchester Cricket Club secured third place in Division Two with thanks to a 4-2 win over fourth placed Winlaton Crown and Cannon. John Lawson, Steven Smithson, Jack Newton and Marc Clews got their goals with Callum Carter and Mark Dodds replying.
After last night's 10-0 demolition of Shotley Cricketers, Annfield Plain Demi are two wins away from denying High Handenhold Bird Inn the Division Three title.
Demi need to win both their remaining fixtures to edge out their rivals on goal difference only, but they face two tricky games with third placed Consett Supa Snooker their opponents in both instances.
Lanchester Cricket Club defeated Consett Snooker Club 6-1 to make sure Sunday's final game with Winlaton Crown and Cannon will decide who finishes third in Division Two.
One will finish out of the top two as both Consett The Barn and Craghead Legion played out a 2-2 draw to bring their successful campaigns to an end.
After last night's convincing 8-1 victory over Oxhill Central, Consett Scotch Arms need just one point from their remaining two games to lift the Division One title.
Craghead Legion secured second spot in Division Two, edging out promotion rivals Winlaton Crown and Cannon 4-3.
Annfield Plain Demi were awarded all three points in Division Three when neighbours Annfield Plain Cricket Club conceded their fixture. Demi need to win all three of their remaining games to stand any chance of pipping season long leaders High Handenhold Bird Inn to the title on goal difference only.
