I'm a bit late in posting these, my New Year nails still going strong. My attempt at Merry Dancer nails (Northern Lights) combining silent night and space odyssey glitter.

Please don't just admire the nails, but the engagement ring to 😍💍💅 loved these 2 together, IZ PRO peacock, with night fever glitter.

One of my favourite sets of Christmas nails from last year. These were my sister Erica's Christmas nails, my last set Christmas eve.

Christmas eve, 4pm after consuming 10000 glasses of prosecco, she tells me she's forgotten to get scallops for the starter.

I will never forget these nails.

Hello everyone

I will be back doing nails from Monday 16th November 💅🎉

There will be a few changes as to what I am offering, due to Covid and having a baby constantly on my pap!

💅 I will no longer be offering a mobile service. All equipment will have to be thoroughly cleaned between each client, and this will not be possible whilst being mobile. I will however be working from home in St Mary's following covid guidelines. When booking I will give out instructions on what's required for appointment.

💅 Appointments will be available during the days and weekends, currently evenings are not possible.

💅 Calgel colour choices will have to be chosen before appointment, I will have all colours up on my page.

Throughout lockdown I have been buying lots of new colours and glitters. 😍

Hello all,

Hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine or thick thunder clouds whatever area of Orkney your in.

As you will have seen, as of the 22nd of July the beauty industry will now be able to start up again under the current Covid guidelines.

However, there has been nothing written or released on third trimester pregnancy and anything easing, and I doubt there will be any change.

At present I will be unable to book any appointments. Baby is due when the kids go back to school.

In relation to mobile appointments in your own home, what I have heard and read is that they will no longer be allowed (which means I will be based in my own home). More will no doubt be released in the coming weeks and months.

I will keep you all updated, and hope you all enjoy this new sense of freedom, while I remain grumpy as 🤬

Another lovely Coronavirus post ...

Due to the recent advice given by my pal Boris, I’m going to have to temporarily stop working for a few weeks.

I am initially doing this up until Monday 6th April, but this may change. Due to being 17 weeks pregnant this may last for a further 12 weeks. 😭

If anyone is in desperate need of getting your feet and hands done, I may possibly manage to apply Calgel if your hands fit through my letter box. This can only be done after using my outdoor hand washing facilities. Sadly due to the angle and if you have thighs like me, pedicures will not be possible or advisable.

💖Sculptures

A few people have been asking what sculptures are and how they are applied.

Foil is applied as shown, which then allows the natural nail to be lengthened with clear gel to the desired length. Pointy finger has already had a sculpture completed.

These can be done in either a full set if you have a good bit of growth on your nails but would still like them slightly longer (sculptures are also slightly more durable than extension tips). They are also a life saver when you break a beautiful nail a day before your nail appointment. ☺️

Just back from a weekend in Glasgow at another Calgel course. Only one in the class to get full marks on overlays and infills 😁💅🤩

Just a reminder that it's not only Calgel applications I do, I also offer pedicures and manicures. I purchased a new foot spa just after Christmas and it is... Amazing. I suffer with aching legs because of my back, and because of the infrared in the foot spa it completely eases my legs aches and pains.

CANCELLATION POLICY

I understand clients may need to cancel or change their appointment. Should you need to do so, I ask for at least 24 HOURS NOTICE.

Appointments cancelled outwith this will be charged 50% of the booked treatment fee.

Appointments cancelled after 9pm the evening before booking will be charged 100% treatment fee.

Payment is to be made via bank transfer within 7 working days.

Appointments are grouped to geographical location. Therefore last minute cancelled appointments are hard to fill.
