My Moroccan G Adventures Adventure!
WOW what an amazing trip this was, I absolutely loved it! memories that will last a lifetime. Our trip started in Casablanca and finished in Marakesh - We covered Over 900 miles!

*We visited the Hassan II Mosque before heading to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis with a guided tour. We enjoyed a community lunch in Myhaya Village - the G Adventures program provides access to education opportunities and healthcare services. The proceeds from this lunch program help support vocational training for rural women, allowing them to support their families and children. We then headed to Fès

*In Fès we explored the labyrinth of streets within the famous Fès medina with a local guide. The Fès medina is the world’s largest living medieval medina and a UNESCO site, buildings in the medina date back to the 9th century. We explored the artisans’ quarters as well as the many carpenters, bakers, butchers, and spice sellers. A highlight of the tour is the view of the famous Fès tannery. Our guide was amazing and we learned so much about this amazing city.

* An early drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains to reach the edge of the Sahara and Merzouga. We spent an amazing evening in the desert. Camel rides at Sunset and music around the campfire, looking up at the stars and chatting until late it was an amazing experience. The next morning we embarked on a 4x4 land cruiser around the sand dunes of Erg Chebb and had mint tea in a nomad camp.

* Merzouga/Todra Gorge - Wedged between massive cliff walls, the gorge is filled with a green oasis of palm trees. This was a long journey but we had plenty of stops on the way and the scenery was just stunning - Our guide Abderrahim was amazing and full of knowledge and interesting facts.

*Todra Gorge/Aït Ben Haddou - After an early morning walk through the gorge, we then traveled along the “Route of 1000 Kasbahs” to the thriving town of Ouarzazate and had lunch with a local family, this was a wonderful experience and we felt so welcome. This town is home to Atlas Film Studios, where many films have been shot over the years, including Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator.

Ait Benhaddou is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The kasbah of Aït Ben Haddou, the most famous ksar in the Ounila Valley, is located in the foothills of the southern slopes of the High Atlas Mountains. The views were just stunning.

*Aït Ben Haddou/Marrakech - The journey to Marrakech included breathtaking views throughout the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260m)
We arrived in Marrakesh and had a guided tour of the Medina and some free time to explore the famous Djemaa el Fna Square

This was such an amazing trip and experience. Our guide Abderrahim was just amazing and so knowledgeable and our driver Aziz was always one step ahead making sure we got to where needed to be on time. The people of Morocco are so friendly and always greeted us with a smile and a welcome. Morocco is a vast and beautiful country and I can't wait to go back and explore more

This morning I had a message from my clients flying out to Crete for a family holiday - there are 10 of them.

One passport had a very slight rip at the bottom of the information page and sadly the check-in agent would not let him fly! the rest of the party continued on and arrived safely. He has managed to get an emergency appointment for a replacement this Wednesday and will hopefully be able to join them.

If your passport has any signs of wear and tear, no matter how small it is advisable to get a replacement and don't risk it!
