Taking a break today from pruning fruit trees, supplied and planted 30 rootballed Laurels (Prunus Laurocerasus ‘Rotundifolia’) to make an instant 2m tall hedge.

Fantastic way to start the festive season. Candle light Carol concert at St Paul’s Cathedral hosted by The Prince’s Trust, including the Choir of St Paul’s Cathedral.

Beautiful morning at Munstead Wood today.

Privileged to be at Munstead Wood this week, the home of Gertrude Jekyll, the mother of gardening. Now under care of National Trust but not yet open to visitors. The immense champion (100+ year-old) rhododendron particularly breathtaking at the moment (spot the wheelbarrow for scale!)

Enjoyed spending the last month transforming a sloping bit of grass into a relaxing, accessible terrace for the client. (Before photos at the end!) I’m a bit fitter too - required 20 tonnes of materials brought in by wheelbarrow!

Proud to be supporting the Greenpower teams - great to see them in action today!

It’s a big one! Climbing a 115ft Coastal Giant Redwood this week - a baby by Redwood standards - to give it a visual inspection. Pleased to give it a clean bill of health ✅

Our upcycled oak fence rail picnic table gets the seal of approval from an Isle of Wight red squirrel 🐿

How to stop the sheep from nibbling the trees but retain a rustic feel in your parkland? How about some cleft sweet chestnut fencing, handmade from locally sourced wood for a customer near Midhurst recently.
