This wee rabbit was in this mornings garden, traumatised by the bailing in the field across the fence.
He needed a cuddle and a chill out. We all do sometimes don’t we?
Centaurea macrocephala A big favourite in our front garden and one that creates the most “what is that?” questions. A beauty if you have space for it.
Rose kisses 😘.
Good opportunity this if you are, or know of any community groups who can take part.

Safe to say I’ve had better mornings.
A big “cheers fella” to the farmer turning his slurry spreader in the field I was driving by.
Maybe turn it off next time? 🤬
Just glad I had the window shut tbh 😳
Started work on this lawn away last year. It was full of moss. Full of w**d and w**d grass. Had been partially destroyed by chafer grubs. Really, it was a disaster.
So, we started again. Killed it all off, dug it out. Brought in tons of good top soil and sand, levelled it. Sowed great quality fresh seed and fertiliser. This was late 2023.
The wet winter didn’t help our cause but we got good germination despite the rain. Then in early spring we overseeded again to help thicken it up, applied seaw**d and this is the result. Still a way to go with the overall finish but you cant argue that it’s looking great.
This has been a very satisfying project. Thanks Mr & Mrs Hume for trusting us to see it through.
A bowl of succulents. A lovely thing.
Nice new gardeners hand soap from Lush. Thanks Mrs M x
Soon be that time again!! Hanging baskets will be available from the 20th May onwards (I think). These are top notch well cared for and properly constructed baskets. (Some might say fussed over 😏)
Pics below are all outside my house. Variety of colour schemes available.
Drop me a message and I’ll firm up prices and delivery for you.
Some pretty things to enjoy from the past couple of wet weeks.

Bit chilly out!
Losing my sense of humour about this weather now. Gies a break!
Happy Easter everyone.
Now, I know at Easter you all like to run to the garden centre to buy your plants for your pots. But this year it’s even earlier than usual so think on.
It’s not spring yet. It is but “Fools Spring” or perhaps “Spring of deception” at a push.
Please, no bedding plants yet!
Enjoy your Easter, plenty of gardening time left in the year for wee violas.
😊👍🐣🌻
PS. I’m looking at some of you especially 😉
🤣🤣
Certainly felt a bit like it......
Parts of UK may have had wettest February on record Weather data to be released on Friday will also likely show that this winter was less frosty than normal.
This is your nudge to get yourself a Hamamelis (witch hazel) if you have room for it. Gives a great splash of colour at this time of year when everything else is a bit brown/green. ☺️👍
This is mine - Hamamelis Arnold Promise.
