After months of trying to figure out how to get a better work life balance I have decided I need to cut down on some hours in the salon.
 
I currently do very long days and I am unfortunately feeling it physically and mentally.  I was hoping after a good break on holiday I would recover and be fresh, but it’s proven not to be the case, I’m obviously just old 😝!
 
I absolutely adore what I do but it’s starting to affect my love for the job and that’s not something any of us want!!
 
It’s all my fault as I hate to say NO!
 
Unfortunately, this means I need to cut back on some clients, especially into the late nights. I ideally want to do one late night instead of three like a normal high street salon would. More and more appointments who started as daytime appointments are turning into evening appointments and I just can’t accommodate this anymore, although I totally understand that everyone’s personal circumstances change.
 
It’s going to be a tough decision, so if you can help me first as there may be some clients out there that are ready for a change in stylist or for whom my appointment times no longer work. If this is the case, please just message me direct to say don’t worry about me, and I’ll take you off the system.
 
 
I absolutely don’t want to lose anyone so if more people could maybe make time in the day to have appointments, then I don’t have to lose as many, that really would be appreciated. As you all know, I love all my clients and will always do my very best to accommodate.
 
I just realise I must do this for life, balance and happiness.
