Tamworth Have a Heart
The charity was set up in 2016 to provide Community Public Access Defibrillators (CPAD) throughout the town. We have one goal, that is to help SAVE LIVES!
We are a registered charity (1171365), creating awareness in bystander cpr, using an AED and raising funds to purchase AED’s for public availability 24hours per day Initially, we are focussed on providing the town centre with sufficient CPADs in areas of high footfall or risk. This will ultimately mean we have defibrillators every few hundred yards apart. We are also engaging the suburbs of Tamwor

Another excellent night of CPR & defibrillation training, at Harlaston village hall.
A talk on cardiac arrest, defibrillation, followed by training and members of the community having a go at the invaluable skills they had learnt/refreshed. Well done to all involved ❤️

We had a brilliant evening with Staffordshire police cadets from Tamworth & Lichfield. A talk on the importance of CPR & defibrillation, demonstrations and training the cadets on these life saving skills. An excellent evening with a lovely thank you card from the cadets! Well done to all who took part, and learnt some very valuable skills. ❤️

An excellent evening at Elford village hall, last night. A talk on CPR & Defibrillation followed by training. 22 members of the community learning life saving skills and feeling confident in putting them in to practice, if needed. ❤️

Recently, one of our defibrillators was used with effective CPR, successfully saving someone’s life!
This is known as as a ROSC (Return Of Spontaneous Circulation)
This is now 7 ROSCs (we’re aware of) this year, using defibrillators the charity has installed. These devices really do save lives!
Thanks again, to all involved in making these installations possible.

A delayed announcement (as social media were on annual leave) but the team were busy installing another 3 life saving defibrillators, last week! This has put our total installation number to 80!! Absolutely amazing 👏🏻
A massive thank you to all involved, in raising funds, finding locations, agreeing installations and for Synergy Group Services Ltd for installing. All installs have been added to our interactive map. Added to the circuit (national database) live and rescue ready!
