πΎπ Stunning sun rise this morning on the north Norfolk coast ππΎ βοΈ
πΎ An Amber weather warning has been issued for the rest of the week - please please please be mindful of your furbabies - keep them safe by keeping them inside where itβs cool - if YOU think itβs hot then have a thought for your pets who are covered in fur & have bare feet - If You Care About Your Furbabies You Will Keep Them Safe - stick to early morning & late evening walks when it is cooler πΎ
πΎπ€£We all do this π€£π€£πΎ
πΎ Please keep your furbabies safe in the hot weather - no dog ever died from missing one walk but they can quite easily die from heatstroke - walk early in the morning or last thing at night when temperatures have dropped - be a responsible dog owner this summer

πΎπ I am extremely cautious when buying plants/flowers & always make sure they are pet friendly - if your furbaby is into everything like mine is please be aware of toxic plants - here are just a few πΎπ
πΎ With the warm weather here - please be mindful of your pets - HEAT STROKE CAN BE FATAL πΎ if you think your pet has heatstroke please DO NOT throw water on it - this can be fatal as it can send the body into shock πΎ
πΎπ Canβt beat a Norfolk sunset on an evening dog walk ππΎ

πΎπ I can so relate to this being my daily routine π€£ππΎ

β RAPESEED! β
Itβs that time of year again where farmers fields have blossomed into pretty yellow flowers, these plants are called rapeseed. Although it may be tempting to place your dog in the mist to take a scenic photo, please avoid this at all costs!
Rapeseed is extremely poisonous for dogs, especially in highly sensitive canines.
Rapeseed is listed by Dogs Trust as toxic to our dogs if ingested and can cause symptoms such as:
βHaemolytic Anaemia
β Blindness
β Damaged Nervous System
β Digestive Disorders
β Breathing Problems
Even walking through these fields should be avoided! In June 2019, a dog has been reported to suffer from severe open wounds after running through a crop of rapeseed.
Please seek immediate veterinary attention if your dog shows any signs of rapeseed poisoning!
