That lovely moment when you’ve collected your work from the framers…
And so Amazing Grace begins the journey to Germany snuggled in its purpose made box via the shipping company.
Enjoying my morning walk as the skies turn blue.
Thanks for all the birthday wishes. I had a lovely day

A Sense of Place. 1800 x 900 Finished, collected and off to its home in the beautiful Buchan coast. Time now to enter the festive spirit. Seasons Greetings to you all.
Did you know that lots of NEOS artists are open all year? If you are struggling to find that special something for a Christmas gift, or just want to treat a loved one (or yourself) then you can now find available artists by searching on our App. You can search either by A-Z of artists or by discipline, then click on the new '365 All year' button at the top of the page and hey presto...you will get a list of all the artists who are open, starting with those who are nearest to your location.
If you don't already have the app, it's free and easy to download. Details below in the pic.
Details of artists open all year are also available in the NEOS book and on our website.
Searching for that pot of gold at the top of the lighthouse. Magical sky. ❤️
2nd December brings Maker Sandra Gorrara’s fun but beautiful Ceramic Houses on wooden blocks.
Delighted to have some of my work in the Winter Show at Milton Art Gallery
No hardship in this early morning walk
Gorgeous cliff top walk from Skarra Brae today. Some inspirational colours and textures along the way. Jim Prince
Beautiful drive to Thurso today
When she comes home and says I’m bringing my cute new pal. Can’t deny Oscar is cute although Hamish remains uncertain!
Finally got going with this piece although the direction of travel is never certain!
And that’s a wrap as these last 2 pieces left today. Thrilled that they are going to hang in a beautiful new build locally. Thanks to all who visited my studio with during the event - all 230 of you! It was a blast!
And off this one goes to its new home. A lot of pleasure was taken in the process.
*Venue 190 - PAW Creations by Pat Williams* - "I design and make various unique items using Harris Tweed, yarn, sheepskin and other materials. I also have a passion for knitting, particularly cables and lacework. I am inspired by nature, animals and also the heritage of both Harris Tweed and knitting. I enjoy creating contemporary items with traditional elements in their design."

*Venue 189 - Paula Turner Art Studio* - "Come and see. I have been pottering about in my wee wood clad studio. Breathing in the beautiful visions across the valley. Come and see. Luminary landscapes, woodland watercolours and opalecent oils emanate from canvases, with striking colours, from all the magnificent seasons. Come and see, for a blether and a cup of tea?"

*Venue 196 - Primrose, Willie (Beechgrove Pottery)* - "Most of my work is stoneware and functional. These range from wee buttons to large bowls, with lots in-between. On occasion I move to hand building and decorative forms-for example sculpting heads, small ducks or chunky hens. Do come and see the variety on offer!"
