Morning ladies

Following my post yesterday re price increase, I am pleased to say that I am currently comfortable with my prices other than treatments where acetone is included i.e soak offs.

So with effect from the 15th April, any nail treatment that requires a soak off I.e a new set of Acrylics or Soft Gels an additional £3 will be added to the overall cost.

I am lucky enough to have a home salon which is heated via air-conditioning and with minimal business rate costs this has helped keep my prices at this current time with no change

I will update my price list shortly, to reflect this one change

Supporting the national nail tech price increase day, I will be increasing my prices wef 15th April 💜

Please note, the increase will not effect all my services, only where it needs to fall in line 💜

Doing much research, masterclasses and gaining knowledge from fellow nail techs how much support this industry needs 💜 So saddened to see some making as little as £7 a hour and many of our prices don’t cover costs or even minimum wage especially with the continuous costs of our products and living going up 💜

Many nail pros feel they cannot increase the prices for fear of losing their clients to those who charge less. It’s an unfair cycle which has led clients to expecting cheap treatments.

National Nail Tech Price Increase Day encourages nail professionals to raise their prices simultaneously on or before this date, to send a resounding message about the value of their skills and dedication to their clients! You guys know what long hours, no lunch breaks and working after hours we do to look after you all!

All of us in this industry should be unapologetic about raising prices where needed and should not feel the need to apologise for wanting to earn a liveable wage and I hope this movement will change the pricing of nail techs 💜
