GoDaddy this morning disclosed that all of there managed WordPress customers sites had been compromised at admin level for over 2 months.

I want to assure my clients that NONE of your hosting with GPSIT is on GoDaddy.

If you are a GoDaddy customer you will need to take immediate actions to re secure your sites and customers data.

The big problem afterwards will be GoDaddy admins and ecommerce customers who have reused passwords across more than one site or login.

The impact of this careless breach will drag on for some time and brings the whole industry into disrepute.

A lot of Internet sites are currently down due to an outage at FASTLY. SItes down include Amazon, Reddit, Spotify, Twitch, Stack Overflow, GitHub, gov.uk, Hulu, HBO Max, Quora, PayPal, Vimeo, Shopify, and news outlets CNN, The Guardian, The New York Times, BBC and Financial Times plus many more

A friend of my Brother contacted me a couple of days ago. Shirley lives in France and she was made aware of some issues some local French Traders were having with payments being accepted on their Sumup Devices over the last few days

I have done some research and there was a brief 20-minute outage on sumup on the 28th of May. I have also seen some telecoms outages in Franch over the last 10 days and a major incident with Orange over the last 36 hours.

If anyone gets any persistent problems, in France or elsewhere, using any payment device, please let me know as soon as possible and I will try and help out.

Obviously, all the usual checks should also be done first, Wifi or 3g/4g signal, Bluetooth connectivity to the mobile device, checking for network or website outages.
