Splash coffee table

The Splash coffee table forms part of Edward Johnson’s Ripples Collection, a domed circular coffee table with a rippled and glass top. The Ripples Collection was born from the desire to push laminating in a whole new direction utilising Danzer’s 3D veneer technology to create the action of a stone dropping into water. Shown made in light blue bird’s-eye maple.

The Ripples blanket chest has a beautiful ripple that starts in the front left-hand corner producing an unusual yet stunning design. This effect was aided by advanced techniques and leveraging Danzer's distinctive 3D veneer technology. Shown made in bog oak with olive ash burr interior.

Ripples chest of drawers
The Ripples chest of drawers (12-drawer) won the Wood Awards in 2013 – The UK’s premier award for excellence in design in wood. Originally inspired by the action of a stone dropping into water, designer Edward Johnson wanted to give the illusion of the subsequent concentric ripples engulfing the entire cabinet.

Utilising Danzer's unique 3D veneer technology, Edward was able to bring movement and life to the entire piece.

Orbis drinks cabinet

The ‘Orbis’ drinks cabinet designed by Edward Johnson, utilise Danzer's unique 3D veneer technology to create a stunning piece. With its exquisite ripples and semi-circular shape this cabinet is definitely eye-catching and memorable.

The surface is smooth to the touch and demonstrates the very best in craftsmanship.

Thank you to the Port of Felixstowe and Norman Global Shipping for arranging a recent tour of the port for our internal shipping team.

The port has continued to expand it's container handling activities but as part of our focus on decarbonisation of supply chains it was good to get a better understanding of the rail freight operation along with it's impressive growth trajectory and relevance to hitting it's carbon neutral targets.

Recently, the EBRD moved its London headquarters from Exchange Square in the City of London where the Bank had been based since 1993 to the vibrant Canary Wharf business district.

In close collaboration with Brown & Carroll Joinery and Overbury plc, specialists in office fit out and refurbishments Danzer was selected to provide the high quality 3D-Veneer for EBRD’s beautiful conference table. The veneer selected was Danzer Vinterio 3D-Veneer which was applied by Danzer using their form Following technology which also allows for decorative or inner layers to be formed into ergonomic shapes.

Grosvenor Square London - Arrival Court has been shortlisted in the category "Commercial Project of the Year" at the Structural Timber Awards 2022.

The core of the components consists of conventional spruce glued laminated timber with the outer glulam lamellas, which are visible, made of the finest walnut glued laminated timber. Commissioned by Taylor Made Joinery.

Working closely with Brown & Carroll Joinery, experts in office fit-outs and renovations, Danzer UK was chosen to supply premium 3D-Veneer for two reception desks and five exquisite benches at 8 Bishopsgate, a 50 storey tower situated on the corner of two of London’s most prominent streets. The selected veneer, Danzer Vinterio 3D-Veneer, was applied by Danzer UK using their innovative Form Following technology, which enables the creation of ergonomic shapes while also accommodating decorative or inner layers.
