Last night was PARTY night in Helensburgh and it’s safe to say we owned the dance floor - so much fun! 🥳🕺👠🌟🎄
It’s been a brilliant first term with the Helensburgh Rock Choir and I’m looking forward to our performance on Sunday at 12:30pm at the Helensburgh Winter Festival in the Square - wrap up for the weather! 🤩🌧️

We had double the fun today singing at Buchanan Galleries as we had 2 performances to help raise money for Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity.
Well done everybody it was great to be spreading some festive cheer as people did their Christmas Shopping🌟🥳🎅🎄🎤

It was a MAGICAL evening at the Christmas Carol Concert in Glasgow Cathedral which was held on behalf of Cancer Research UK. The first time I have performed there with my choirs. Sadly I couldn’t take you all there to sing but hopefully we’ll be invited back 🤩🤞⭐️ We really got the audience into the Christmas spirit! 🎄🌟
It was a joy to hear everyone else perform and what talented artists including Sophie Rocks on Harp, Soloist Monica McGhee, Natalie James Professional Singer and of course the school choirs too. It was so lovely to sing traditional Christmas Carols in such a beautiful setting with the audience and Fred MacAulay was a terrific host. A truly memorable night 🥰💫

It was a snowy start to the day travelling from the beautiful Scottish Borders ☃️❄️ to get to Princes Square in Glasgow where we were performing. The shopping centre was looking stunning with all its Christmas decorations 🎅🎄💫
100 Rockies helped get everyone into the festive spirit as we sang for an hour today to help raise funds for Maggies Charity. Lots of lovely feedback from the audience 🤩 thank you to everyone who came and sang today you sounded terrific 🙌

We were delighted to be invited to perform at this special event today at the SEC, ‘One Day At Christmas’ bringing festive cheer to over 200 wonderful people enjoying a day out involving a beautiful Christmas meal & fabulous entertainment 🥳🎄⭐️🥰
So excited about this 🤩 Let’s see if we can get our Charity single to the TOP of the charts!!

Today marks the end of the scheduled Autumn Term! 🤗⭐️ I’ll be running rehearsals in Largs and Bothwell next week to make up for lost time and then we’re into a run of performances…🤩
It’s been a really FUN and busy couple of weeks at rehearsals as we’ve been getting all Christmassey🎄🎅 as well as collecting LOTS of children’s toys/presents as part of our campaign to help ‘Cash for Kids’ this year. Thank you so much for the HUGE number of toy donations you have brought to choir 😀🙌🎲🧩🎁🧸

Today we had a WONDERFUL lunch in Largs after our rehearsal to celebrate 10 years of the Largs Rock Choir! 🥳🙌
I started the choir back in September 2013 and boy we’ve had fun over the years. The 1st song I taught was ‘Just The Way You Are’ by Bruno Mars. The choir have learned over 120 songs over the years and there have been countless performances and events in a huge variety of locations.
So many AMAZING memories....
A heartfelt thank you to Lorna who gave a moving speech, and also for the poem that she wrote for me 🥰
And to my fabulous Prefect Christine Gardner I'd like to say a massive personal thankyou as well. You are a STAR and I appreciate all your help every week at choir ⭐️
The choir continues to go from strength to strength so I’d like to say a huge THANK YOU to all my fantastic Largs Rockies - you ROCK! 🤩🤘

We stayed up late to perform at the CPT Conference in Glasgow’s Hilton which was supporting the Beatson Charity. It was a great night and a lovely guest remarked we were “seriously fabulous!” 🤩⭐️ thank you to everyone who took part in the performance you looked & sounded fantastic!

Today we said a very sad goodbye to the beautiful Lorraine McCulloch, my wonderful prefect from the Bothwell Rock Choir. She was a shining light 🌟
We recorded Lorraine’s favourite song in the Bothwell Parish Church last week which was played at the funeral service. Lorraine loved to sing and she was with Rock Choir for 10 years becoming a Prefect 5 years ago. She was hugely loved by everyone in the choir and we will miss her so much.
