We are looking for two Manchester based alumni to help at the UCAS Create Your Future fair in MCR next week, on Tues 23 and Wed 24 November. This is a paid opportunity, we will cover travel within the Greater Manchester region.

Please get in touch if you are local and available, ideally we are looking for graduates from any course in the last 10 years who can be available both days 9am-4pm. Drop us a DM asap!

PAID TWO DAY ROLE FOR EAST 15 GRADUATES AT UCAS FAIRS IN LONDON AND MANCHESTER

We are looking for some of our brilliant alumni from the last five years to join us at the upcoming UCAS Create Your Future fairs in London and Manchester to talk to potential applicants and speak about your East 15 experiences.

London: Excel Centre, 5 & 6 October
Manchester: Central Convention Complex, 23 & 24 November
Two roles available at each fair, must be available both days 9am-4pm including an hour lunch break.

We want to hear from graduates local to each city who can make both days of the respective fairs and can engage enthusiastically and helpfully with applicants and interested young people. We will be able to pay Living Wage fees to participating alumni, payable after the event via invoice, plus local travel costs.

Huge congratulations & safe journey to all our Undergraduate and Postgraduate students -and their guests - travelling to the Graduation Ceremony in Colchester tomorrow.
No idea why, but East 15 has something of a reputation for enthusiastic audience participation and a lively contribution to proceedings. This year they will be so quiet you’ll hardly know they’re there. Honest!

Head of MA Acting, Andrea Brooks, is looking for actors with an interest in Human Rights and time to spare on the afternoon of 20th and during the day on 21st July.

The objective is to take part in a collaborative venture, entitled the 'Performing Dignity Project', with LIFTS and the Human Rights Centre in Colchester. Expenses will be paid and overnight accommodation supplied if needed.

East 15 remembers founder Margaret Walker, who passed earlier this year All old Alumni and friends are warmly invited for speeches and reminiscing. There will be a tree planting ceremony during the afternoon. Bar from 2 till 6.

Longstanding East 15 Teaching Fellow and ex-Head of the Cert HE course, DAVID ROBSON, passed away earlier today in a North London Hospice after a lengthy illness.

Following on from the news earlier in the week regarding the passing of East 15 founder Margaret Walker, it has been a bit of an emotional time at the School over the last few days.

There will be more news soon on an event to celebrate David's life and work.

2012 marked the 50th Anniversary of East 15 Acting School. Over that time the school has grown to now offer some fifteen undergraduate and postgraduate courses across two campuses.
