Packing is a crucial part of our process, where each item receives a lot of thought and care. For us, packing is primarily about safeguarding your products. We prioritize ensuring that your items arrive intact and without any accidents. At the heart of our packing philosophy is the belief that less is more. We strive to use minimal materials and as much biodegradable material as possible to protect your products efficiently while minimizing waste. Some of you (especially our practitioner friends) might have noticed that we reuse carton boxes. We have always encouraged you to reuse first and then recycle. It only makes sense for us to do the same! We keep exploring ways to achieve more with less. After all, isn’t that what sustainability is about? And it should be a serious consideration in everything we do, don’t you think? #lessismore #sustainablity #sustainabilty #sustainableliving #naturalproduct #faceoil #ayurvedica #ayurvedicskincare #lesswaste #naturalskin #naturalbeautyproducts #cleanbeautyproducts #kumkumadioil #
To begin with you should rethink this- while using a spices everyday is great, you should ideally take a break from using herbs at regular intervals. But if you tend to stock up on anything in larger quantities, why not instead try having multiple smaller packs instead? It keeps the ground powders fresh longer and you avoid exposing the bigger packs to air/ oxidation each time you open it? Get a smaller pack, use and open a fresh one again. What do you think, especially my practitioner friends? #smallisbetter #smallbusinesstips #tuesdaytip #herbalpowder #herbsandspices #herbsforhealth #ayurvediclifestyle #ayurvedicherbs #ayurvedichealth #healthtipsoftheday

Exercise has been an integral part of my life for several years now. There have been and are many gaps that inadvertently come into an exercise routine but going back to it has always made me happier and more cheerful. It also gives me a much needed break from everything else when I step away from home for it. Ayurveda considers “sweating “ to be of significant importance to our overall health and detoxification. According to Ayurvedic principles, sweating serves several important purposes. Amongst them are, 1. Detoxification: Sweating is a natural mechanism through which the body eliminates toxins (ama) and impurities. It helps cleanse the body’s internal channels (srotas) and remove accumulated waste products. This process is vital for maintaining optimal health and preventing diseases. 2. Balancing Doshas: Sweat is associated with the element of fire (Agni) in Ayurveda. By promoting sweating, excess Kapha (earth and water elements) and toxins (ama) are eliminated, helping to balance Kapha dosha. ( and that’s why it’s a great time to begin exercising in this season) Sweating also helps regulate Pitta dosha by cooling the body and preventing excess heat buildup. 3. Supporting Skin Health: Sweating opens up the pores of the skin, facilitating the release of trapped dirt, oil, and impurities. This helps in maintaining healthy skin and preventing skin disorders . And that’s why if you have ever noticed, when you exercise regularly, your skin looks so much better And last but not the least, 4.Stress Relief:Sweating through physical activity or sauna sessions can help alleviate stress and promote relaxation. It stimulates the release of endorphins (feel-good hormones) and reduces tension in the body. The form of exercise you choose may vary, the amount you exercise before you break into sweat may vary too, however, to keep good health and as our friend @versha_coach reminded us at a @heal.events event last weekend, for “mental sanity more than van
If Food is medicine.. should we not try to keep as much of that medicine within our food? Sunday can be a day of prep, but how about doing it a bit differently this Sunday? Why not pick 3 spices of your choice to use during the week coming up, grind them at home and use the magic of that fresh medicine in your meals. You can try grinding fresh Cinnamon, Cumin, Coriander seed, Fennel and combining them with other herbs and spices. #sundayprep #sundaysareforfamily #spiceupyourlife #foodismedicine❤️

I am a big fan of getting children started with certain habits young- from regular oil massages to the right foods at the right times. I believe it is important to set that time right. Get them into a few habits that will only help. They may go off it at some point- but they will come back to it. I ve been drinking “immuniTEA” regularly the last few weeks. I don’t generally have seasonal allergies but this time of the year definitely throws me off balance. So it’s my cup to boost my immune health. One the main herbs in this is Guduchi or Giloi which could well be the#of bitter. So yes, it’s a bitter tea but also a very effective one that works brilliantly to get rid of existing colds and congestion and also keep it at bay. My son generally enjoys herbal teas but I was really surprised when he actually drank a cup of immuniTea. I wasn’t expecting it but was so proud:) To more tea then ☕️ #startthemyoung❤️ #teasforchildren #motherandchild #motherandchildren #buildinghealthyhabits #seasonalallergies #goodhealthandwellbeing #buildinghappiness

On World Sleep Day , we cannot emphasise enough the importance of sleep in our life. Ayurveda considers sleep as one of the pillars of good health. Consider this: Sleep affects immune health and immune health is one of the factors that contribute towards Hayfever- this is just one , very simple example of how our body is interconnected and emphasises why looking at health, holistically,is so important. “Good Sleep” is our herbal supplement that is highly effective in promoting deep and uninterrupted sleep. If you are grappling with sleep issues we encourage you to try something herbal and safer vs alternative options. However, we acknowledge that like good health is not about one individual element or one pill you can use, good sleep cannot be either. There are several factors that work towards a good nights sleep. Here are a couple you can try, Foot massage: Giving yourself a foot massage can very easily become a meditative practice. Use some warm oil, massage your foot for about 15 mins ( the front and back), put on some socks and get into peaceful slumber untill the morning. It is a great idea to also try this on young children. Use a simple pure oil and you could be surprised with the results. Sleep in complete darkness : As daylight transitions to night, your body relies on this cue to produce melatonin, crucial for better sleep. Complete darkness would mean you should not be able to see your hand in front of you. Blackout blinds or eye/ sleep masks are a great idea. For further insights, our upcoming April newsletter will offer some suggestions to optimise sleep.
