Each new addition to the workforce automatically becomes a valued and trusted member of an already very successful team of standard-bearers for the "United Way", a simple ethical code of conduct that forms the foundation for the outstanding quality of customer service offered by the company to the taxi-using public of Maidstone, West Malling and surrounding areas of Kent. People skills are of prime importance with all Staff and drivers at United Cars. Customers need to be welcomed and made to feel comfortable with their in-car experience having booked a United Car for their journey. Driving must be efficient, safe, and confident to ensure continuing customer satisfaction and punctuality. Cars are kept clean and well-presented to uphold the image, brand, and reputation of the company. Drivers are required to wear a simple dress code of white shirt, black trousers, and black shoes with a neutral company tie worn.

HOW TO APPLY
Initial inquiries regarding the acquisition of a Maidstone Council Private Hire license should be made at the Gateway Maidstone taxi licensing on 01622 602028 or Tonbridge and Malling Council at Gibson Drive, West Malling 01732 876368. New applicants should expect to provide a medical certificate, a Criminal Records Bureau certificate of disclosure and in most cases to pass the topography test and driving test for their Private Hire badge.
