From Thursday (tomorrow) to Monday this week please note our usual lunch menu will not be available at Acorn Bank. There will be a good selection of sandwiches available, including gluten free and vegan options. And of course we will have our delicious pastries and home made cakes. Just one day left until the annual A.W. Jenkinson Charity Football Tournament at Newton Rigg. ⚽🥅

Join us for family-friendly fun, featuring a tombola, food and drink stalls, not to mention the thrill of the football tournament. We are well into the milling season now and there is plenty of our traditionally milled flour for sale. Unfortunately, we will have to close earlier than our normal 3pm this coming Saturday, April 20th. If you want to see the mill turning, make sure you are there by 2 o'clock.

Newsflash! 🗞️🚨You can now use the fantastic Fellrunner bus to visit us at Acorn Bank! The service will run every Friday departing Penrith bus station at 10.50am and returning at 15.03pm. Giving you plenty of time to peruse the beautiful gardens stopping for coffee, cake and lunch 🙌☕️🍰
