A few things I’ve learnt from being a professional dancer with my own businesses that I adopt in my day to day life:

1. Whatever talent you have will be overshadowed by a bad attitude.
2. You will be remembered for what you say offstage, not what you do on it.
3. ‘Say yes and figure it out later’ has positive results 90% of the time.
4. You can never, ever, ever be over prepared.
5. Putting yourself out there is the green card for most success and happiness.
6. Taking risks can lead to the best things that happen in your life.
7. Talk less, listen more.
8. Do not be afraid of constructive criticism, it is the way to grow and move forward.
9. Do feel free to speak up in the face unconstructive criticism - that is essentially just being mean.
10. Learn to be content working alone as well as in a team.
11. Get comfortable in your skin and embrace yourself for who you are.
12. Move your body, give it plenty of nutrition, and allow yourself the calorie intake to execute what it needs to do healthily (the toughest one I’ve learnt by far…I still battle with this sometimes, but I’m growing)
13. Water is the grown up drink.
14. ‘Who you know not what you know’ is a real thing…
15. You will fall, but you will get up again.

Featuring Dom Hartley-Harris, the voice of Hamilton, Dreamgirls & Bat Out of Hell, this live spectacle brings a flavour of the West-End to one of the midland’s most prestigious live music venues.

Performing a range of Soul & Motown classics and contemporary floor-filling favourites, the band will take you on a journey throughout the decades. You can also expect to hear plenty of hits straight out of West-End musicals including Tina, Dreamgirls, We Will Rock You, Bat Out of Hell & Motown the Musical. Not forgetting live performances from The Show Band’s own cabaret dancers and powerhouse brass section!
