Dear yous, we’ve had many adventures over the years; walked so many miles. We’ve entertained 1000s, covered in lights. We’ve luxuriated over pianos singing the blues. We’ve thrilled in New York, and pranced in Abu Dhabi, we’ve wowed in Monaco and high-kicked in Morocco. We’ve even twirled a tassel or two. Within each crease, you’ve another story to tell, and I’ll remember them all fondly. But you’ve been superglued back together more times than I can remember, and sharpie’d back to black (they’ll never know) so many times. Here’s to you old friends. Thank you for the memories, but it’s time to go to the big ol’ shoe horn in the sky…
